The fall of the winter snow hitting the windows leaving a glistening shadow over them. The fire wood crackling in the fireplace sending a warmth aura over the room while a wonderful life played in the background.
"You know this movie has always had pacing problems for me" Brooke spoke while wrapping herself deeper into her London fog
"What do you mean it's a classic" Taylor walked into the room carrying hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows to the brim. As the evening went on and movies were gone through the duo cuddled close to each other while Brooke yawned loudly. Taylor laughed lightly while watching her friend trying to keep herself awake to finish the white Christmas movie.
"You can go to sleep if you want" Taylor spoke lightly while running her hand through the other woman's hair
"I know that's why I love you" Brooke said before falling to sleep with her head in Taylor's lap leaving the other women in shock but not because she didn't reciprocate the feelings but because she did reciprocate them and that scared her.
The next morning the dúo woke up wrapped up in each others arms as the light crept through the curtains
" Did you mean it. What you said last night?" Brooke asked while looking down at Taylor's face which was laced with confusion
"What did I say"
"That.... That you love me"
Realization laced her features before turning over to face the other women.
"I.... I meant it, I was scared for so long to come to terms with my feelings for you. But I can run anymore. I love you so much Brooke Logan"
"We'll that's good because I love you so much Taylor Hayes"
