Laura captured in the arms of the gunman who was holding the gun into her temples. While Amy and Lesley watched in horror. Amy cried out for the release of her sister
"Please please please let her go. Don't hurt her please"
The gunman's laugh was the last thing she remembered before she popped up in bed in a cold sweat. She looked over at her alarm clock seeing she had work in an hour, she took a cold shower trying to mask her exhaustion. But it didn't work because head nurse Bobbie who was standing at the nurses station that morning. Took one look at her and said "go home, get some sleep and come back when yo u worked through whatever's making you lose sleep"
Amy opened her mouth to fight her on this but Bobbie beat her to it. "You aren't going to change my mind. Go now" Amy huffed off while Bobbie dialed Laura's number
"Hey Bobbie
"Hey Laura, we need to talk"
"About what"
"Amy. something's wrong with her. She hasn't been sleeping and she's worn herself down. I sent her home for the day until she's better. I think she needs you and your mothers help to get her through this."
"Okay thank you Bobbie. For looking out for my sister"
"You're welcome bye Laura"
"Bye"
Laura called Lesley and they headed to see Amy at her dingy apartment
Knock knock
"Coming" Amy opened the door in surprise at her sister and mothers presence
"What are..."
" we heard you haven't been sleeping and are wearing yourself down. What's going on with you sweet girl" they made their way to the couch after being let in. While Amy was still in a state of silence
"I'm fine, really I'm all good. You don't need to worry about me" Amy tried to be convincing but her sister and mom looked at her showing they didn't believe her.
"No you're not sis. Please let us help you "
Amy went silent for a moment before deciding to tell them about her nightmares of that night at the hotel. She told about the many sleepless nights and cold sweats after each nightmare that led to her current state. The duo captured Amy in their arms, hugging her deeply and promising to help her through this and to move on from the event. She was happy to know she had them in her corner even when she tried to push them away
