The next day I waited for Diana and Chase. They called and said they would be here soon.

"Are you sure you're going to be ok?" Damon asked as he was waiting with me.

"Damon, I'm fine... Chase, Diana, and I are taking Parker back to his hometown in Nashville, Tennessee"

"You're going all the way over there?" Damon asked confused.

"Yes. You all will be fine here"

"How long will you be gone for?"

"I'm not sure. I just want to get away from here. Go look for Elijah and move on with my life"

"What about Elena? She needs you"

"She seems to be doing just fine on her own. You and Stefan are doing so much for her already"

There was a knock on the door. I open it and Diana immediately hugs me.

"I'm so sorry" She said.

"Me too" I said to her.

"Where's his body?" Chase asked.

"In the basement. We've kept him clean and ready to transfer" Damon said as he stood behind me.

Chase left. Diana wheeled in his coffin.

"It looks nice..." I said looking at the coffin.

"You got your stuff right?" Diana asked.

"All here" Damon said pointing to my 20 suitcases.

"Hey. It's not all my things, I did leave some here" I said. "Be useful Damon and put them in the car for me, thanks" I pat Damon on the shoulder as I walked past him. I heard him groan but did as I said.

Diana followed me to the basement. We entered one of the rooms and Chase was crying over Parker's dead body.

Diana kneeled to Chase and hugged him for comfort.

Just knowing Parker wasn't going to be here anymore hurt more than anything. He was the first one I met after fleeing from Damon and Stefan in 1864.

"I'm just saying, Veronica is a nice girl, why not go out with her?" Chase asked Parker as the three of us wandered the hallways of our house.

"I am not into her" Parker argued.

"Oh, come on when was the last time you got laid?"

I turned to Chase.

"Don't even" I pointed at him as Parker said. "Absolutely not"

"I'm just saying--"

"Chase, I think Paker is capable of finding a girl on his own" I cut him off.

"I know but--"
