The head weighs heavy, and there is no denying the burden it must bear, but that does not mean it is free of everything else.

Arthur Curry understood this. Had to understand. What it meant to be the king of Atlantis. A task that was far from easy or pleasant.

And the tides, they pass so much faster than most would believe. The new king had become a father.

Meanwhile, the old king spent his time in exile. It showed once again how quickly things can change. The evening could look very different from the morning.

But one thing never changes. It is not in nature for certain things to change. Forgiveness and grace are not usually in that category.

So the saying "time heals all wounds" is often not true. Wounds do not heal. They remain. They fade over time and become unrecognizable. But if you look at them closely, they are still recognizable. They are scars.

The loss of the father did not heal. The hatred and pain grew instead of finding peace with it. The result of not finding peace was revenge.

But revenge never ends well.

It usually ends up hitting the wrong people.
