Chapter 50

Author's POV

One week passed and Yibo was making a good recovery. He no longer needed to see doctor and he was less of a shut in kind of person now. Slowly the wang family saw Yibo coming out of his closed off shell and becoming their sweet little boy who laughed and joked with his ge and jie, the boy who played with his nephew and the happy kid for his UNIQ brothers. Yibo was getting back to his normal mode and everyone was happy about that fact. Haikuan and Li Qing was over extremely happy about their little brother's recovery Yixuan and WenHan continued to visit whenever they could since they were still in Beijing and Sengyeoun . and Sungjoo went back to Seoul in a promise of coming back sooner and visit him.

It was a fine morning and like usual Yibo woke up in the morning and went to do his meditation and and even he tried to move along with the beats of some songs, before he got called for breakfast. After getting fresh and changing into new clothes, Yibo went towards the dining room where he knew his brother and sister in law will be waiting for him.

"Uncle Bo.." Little FanXing launched himself towards Yibo who was startled by the sudden noise. Somehow he managed to braze himself for the sudden attack and scooped his nephew up and secured in his arms.

"Baby Xing.. you are up this early...?" Yibo asked with a sweet smile while walking downstairs.

"Silly you.. I have school today.." Fan Xing giggled while holding on to the neck of his uncle.

"Sorry.. your uncle Bo thought it was weekend..." Yibo said while ruffling the hair of his nephew. They were chatting merrily when they reached the dining table.

"Good morning ge and jiejie.." yibosaid with a smile and he put the ball of sunshine he was holding.

Haikuan and Li Qing was getting ready for the day and they never expected they will get to witness a cheerful Yibo. Usually the smile Yibo used to display where just an effort to not worry anybody and even though they didn't confront yibo with this, they were able to clearly recognise the shadows of sadness in his eyes. The smiles never reached his eyes, but it was not like them. Li Qing smiled wide and stood up from her seat and hugged Yibo tightly. Yibo returned the hug and then said.

"what happened jiejie..?

"Nothing... What.. I need a reason to hug my little brother..?" She fake complained.

"Mom.. I also need hug" Little FanXing stood up in his chair and hugged them with his small hands. Haikuan who was watching this whole interaction with a fond smile also stood up and joined their group with a whine.

"Hey.. don't leave me out like this....."

"Oh you big baby.. come here and join us.." Li qing said with a smile and hugged her husband as well. She couldnt help but thank the God who is letting this happening. She know it is not perfect but she can see everyone is healing from the past trauma. Wang Yibo is always the most important person in their life. He is the best uncle, the best brother and he is like their first child.

"I hope everything will be fine from now on.." She thought.

After a few days, Haikuan was sitting in his chair and reading a book he started long ago and forgotten. He decided to enjoy his rare free time with restarting the book again since his wife and son is not at home right now. Li Qing took her son to the park since he has a playdate with his friends. Yibo was also inside his room and the house was too quiet. While immersed in his book he didnt notice the seat near him is no longer empty and someone was already sitting there. When he heard a rustling sound he looked up from his book and then saw Yibo sitting near him with a thoughtful look on his face.

"What happened Yibo.. ? why the long face..?" Haikuan asked while keeping the book on the coffee table.

"Ge.. I guess I am ready now..."
