Poe Dameron pulled his hood around his face tighter, blaster gripped tightly in the other hand. The train he was standing on the roof of was slowing, but hadn't stopped yet. It wasn't going to stop in time, and he had to get out. With night falling, and heavy rain lashing all around him, he stepped onwards, wiping the rain from his face. "I need pickup!" he yelled through his comm, "Anytime now would be good!"

There was static on the other end for a moment before a voice came through, "I hear you, Poe. I'm trying my best, just give me one minute."

"A minute?" Poe asked, but the person on the other end did not respond. He sighed heavily. "Better be less than a minute.."

He folded his arms across his chest, sliding his blaster inside his jacket. He was about to turn away, when a flicker of lightning further down the train caught his attention, illuminating a figure of a person. Poe frowned. After the firefight, a body would not be uncommon, but there had been no storm, no lightning.

Against his better judgement, he slowly walked down the train, blaster back in hand, concealed under his raincoat. "..Hello?" He called out slowly. Once again there was a small flicker of lightning, lighting up the silhouette of the person he had seen before. They were not standing, but on the ground. Poe heard the figure whimper slightly.

So they were injured.

"Hello?" Poe called again. "Can you hear me? I- I'm here to help."

The light on his blaster illuminated the person as he got closer. The figure was dressed in what seemed to be.. dark robes? They were hooded, and wore a mask up to their nose. Poe took a little step back, unsure of what he had just walked into. "Are you.. okay?"

The figure looked up. They had dark skin, and eyes that were a very unnatural colour. Red? And... yellow?

"Shit." Poe swore. Sith eyes. He raised his blaster, but the figure grabbed his wrist, and pulled him to the ground with a startlingly strong grip. "Hey, hey!" he yelled, "get off me!"

The figure snarled at him, talking in a language that Poe didn't understand. He reached for Poe's face, but his arm dropped to his side. Poe looked down to see a small machine attached to the strange man's leg. He cried out, either in pain or in anger. It was a restraint that Poe had seen before, one created by the empire to track and inflict pain on its target. He looked at it, and back up at the man. "Do.. do you know what that is?" he asked, "I do, I can help you."

The sith tore his mask away from his face, talking in his strange language again. It sounded like a threat, and Poe held his hands in the air to show he meant no harm. He pointed at himself slowly. "My name is Poe." he gestured to the restraint. "I can take that off."

The sith's eyes narrowed slightly, but he made no more threats. He put his hands to the side, allowing Poe to do what he needed to.

"Alright." Poe murmured. "I'll try and make this quick." The last person he wanted to get on the bad side of was a sith. Poe hadn't thought they even existed anymore. A bolt on the restraint clicked out of place, and the sith winced in pain. Still, he allowed Poe to remove it. When it had been deactivated, he pushed Poe aside, and tore the restraint open and in two pieces, taking Poe by surprise. When the sith stood up, Poe took a little step backwards, and the rain caused him to lose his footing. He slipped backwards, and felt himself plummet off the train and into the air. It was a long, long drop below him, and Poe cried out, closing his eyes tightly together. He waved his arms and legs around, desperately trying to grab onto something. He couldn't breathe, it was as if all he could do was fall.

He for a long time, eyes closed, waiting for the end, praying to his lucky stars that it would be painless. How could he have been so stupid? What would happen to Rey and BB-8? Would they look for him? And where would the sith go? What if he hurt them?
