For those who want to be seen as just them, this story is for you.
Hi, I am Shivani Akula. I am an average girl with average marks in my studies working in an average company and living an average life. You may find it boring but I am stable in lif...
"I am Sharath Raavi, the CEO of Dream Big Company. I have great ambitions to take my company to the top, and I cannot afford any distractions. I have learned from my family that love is just an illusion, and what truly matters is fulfilling our needs, which only money can buy. Therefore, I focus on making money every day, and I keep everything under my control. However, today, my mother (note the sarcasm) had to come and ruin everything by dropping a bomb on me. Why can't people just stay out of my way for once?
Flash black:
I was descending the stairs when Amrutha Raavi decided to block my way. "Sharath, one minute," she said. "What?" I asked uninterestedly. "I have seen a few girls who might be interesting ," she said, irritating me. "For your husband?" I asked. "No, for you," she clarified. "I am not interested in sleeping with them today. When I am interested, I will let you know. You can send some girls," I said while smirking.
"I am asking for marriage," she said angrily. "Don't forget that you are living under my roof," she corrected her posture and continued, "You know that your grandfather wants you to get married to acquire company, so I am helping you." I glared at her and replied, "To find someone like u no thanks, I will find one myself." She got tears in her eyes and asked, "Can't you just forgive me for one mistake?" She said looking helpless, but she left me when I was helpless, so I left and went to my office.
I completely forgot about my upcoming marriage. Why does my grandfather insist that everyone in the family has to get married to acquire the family company? He forced my father and mother to get married, and they turned out to be bad parents. I don't want to marry someone just for the sake of the company. Lost in my thoughts, I suddenly heard the door of my office open, and three annoying people barged in. I internally rolled my eyes and turned to the black screen in front of me.
"Hi, why so grumpy in the morning, babby?" Aadarsh asked while sitting at the table. "Get off," I replied. "What happened?" asked Danush, but I remained silent, lost in my thoughts. Madhav stepped forward and said, "Staring at a blank screen won't help." This guy always thinks he knows everything. "Is he looking at the blank space?" Aadarsh peeked into the computer. "Just shut up," I said and stood up. Madhav held my shoulder and said, "It's okay."
Oh shit, I don't like feeling like this and that jerk can probably tell I'm confused. Why can't everyone just leave me alone? That's when a cute girl in a below-knee-length skirt and a black full-sleeve top came over and hugged me. "It's okay, bro. Don't take Aunty's words to heart. I'll find a good girl for you. No, not just any good girl. I'll find your soulmate for you," she said quietly. She must have overheard the conversation. It was my cute little sister, who was too innocent for this world. She was the only person I couldn't get angry at.

She is the daughter of my father's brother (Babai). Although their relationship is better than that of my own parents, I have noticed her crying silently on some days. There are no happy couples according to me, they have two children named Raaghav and Anandi. Raaghav is in his final year of medical school, while Anandi is in her third year of B.Tech and both are doing well. Both are good.
(Author - Just good are u don't want to tell that u love them😏)
"what are u doing here?" I asked her hugging her back " I came to check up on u and before u ask I have project work going on so I don't need to attend college," she said cutely. " ok and don't worry about my marriage I will take care of it," I said stroking her hair she shakes her head and said " no I will tell u who your soulmate is in.." she tilts her head thinking and said " ah one week just week okay " I lift my eyebrow " one week?" I asked "Yes u will know but u have to trust me " I smiled and said "ok"
She left saying goodbye and my three friends, who are also investors in my company, started shouting "Marriage!!". "Grandfather will," I said. "You..." Aadarsh was about to say something, but I interrupted him and said, "I will take care of it. Now go and do your work." I said this seriously. Aadarsh and Danush wanted to say something, but Madhav said, "Okay," and left with them. He was the only one who knew not to disturb me now. I touched my forehead, thinking about how I could solve this problem. Today, I talked with that woman, and it was enough to spoil my day. Now, marriage thing is NOT MY DAY.
