"So you're telling me on Friday a blue haired tomboy asked you to buy her ticket for a thing she was playing? And you bought it?"
"Yep... part of me is a little concerned, but at the same time I'm really curious."
Me and Suzuki were eating lunch together like always.
"So what happened after that?" She asks with eyes of curiosity.
"Well after that she just... ran off. Leaving me to process what just happened. I'm curious as to why she asked me out of everyone."
"This better not be a scam."
"I hope not! I mean I don't think it is. She said it was at this place called Starry. So, I'm assuming it's a live house. The gig's this Friday and starts at 8. Say uh... wanna go with me? They'll probably have tickets there. It's been a bit since we've hung out."
Suzuki looks at me in slight surprise.
"You're actually going? Well, if you're going, I'll mind as well tag along."
"Sweet! It might be fun."
She rests her head on her hand with her elbows leaning on the table with a gloomy expression.
"Guess so."
"What's wrong?"
"Oh no it's nothing. It's just I've never been to a concert before, so I don't know how it's gonna be."
"Same. I think it'll be fun don't you think?"
"I mean yeah. You're right! But the way you described this Ryo, she seems to be around our age so they're probably an indie band."
"Who knows, if luck is on their side they'll blow up. Oh yeah, Mitsuya joined the club yesterday! Now we need 1 more! I was gonna tell Kita about it but she left before I could."
Suzuki looks at me in complete disbelief. She puts her hand on her forehead and shakes her head.
"Y/N... do you have a problem with talking to girls? It's okay, you don't need to feel ashamed. You can tell me anything-"
"No! I'm not afraid of talking to girls! She left while I was talking to MItsuya not giving me a chance to process what was going on..."
But it's hard to look at you in the eyes sometimes cuz of how pretty you are.
Suzuki stares at me intently for a long while.
"Hmmmmmm if you say so. You're not afraid talking to me so I'm probably in the wrong.

Later that week it finally became Friday. The night of the gig.
"Hi."
Mitsuya enters the art club room. For the past week, it's just been the two of us. I haven't been able to find Kita much this past week, and when I would find her she's always with a bunch of friends. I want to tell her when she's alone so I can give her my full attention.
"Yo." I say as I give a slight wave.
Usually, we have occasional chit chat while we both draw. Since he's so quiet it's hard for me to try to get him to talk much. I enjoy his company, but the silence is too much sometimes.
"Say Mitsuya, what do you do after school?"
He scratches the back of his head.
"Nothing much, just sleep and draw."
