We all gathered around the dinner table to eat the dinner Yui and Mitsuya prepared. Baked chicken and rice.
"I hope you enjoy." Mitsuya says.
"I think you guys will love it! We are the chief masters hehe!" Yui says with a cheeky smile.
Suzuki and I take a bite while the two watch us intently.
"It's yummy! I like it!" Suzuki exclaims.
"Me too. This is pretty good!"
I can tell Mitsuya made this. It's not on Yui's level but it's still really good. I'm impressed.
"Really? That's... good then I guess."
Yui pats Mitsuya on the back.
"What's the matter?" Yui asks Mitsuya.
"Oh no, it's just, I had no idea how they would react. I'm glad you all like it."
We all start digging in and end up talking about all sorts of things.
"Munchkin! I heard you're publishing your manga for the culture festival! That's so cool!"
"Oh uh yeah, heh. It was Suzuki's idea."
"Amazing! How's that going?"
"It's going alright. Part of me is a little nervous."
"Aw, why's that?"
"Well, the whole school is going to see it!"
"And that's the best part!" Suzuki shouts.
"Maybe I'm just worried people won't like it I guess, or find it weird."
Yui giggles.
"Well, there's only one way to find out!"
"I guess you're right. Oh yeah Mitsuya, Suzuki-chan. Tomorrow, I need you guys to review the manga during art club. "
"Got it!" Suzuki declares.
"Alright. I'll read your manga and give my review."

The next day started a whole new week of school. As class went on and on, I slowly started getting bored, so I went to the bathroom. After finishing my business and washing my hands, when I walked out, in the far distance I spotted Kita heading towards my direction. She instantly notices me, smiles, and runs towards me.
"Hey Y/N!"
"Oh uh, hey Kita."
Her bright smile quickly fades away. She crosses her eyebrows and looks at me rather upset.
"You didn't text me or anything this whole weekend!"
"I thought you would text me!"
"But I always do! I wanted you to do it for once..."
"Oh... well I'm sorry. I'll be the one to call you next time. So uh, how did things go with Ryo."
"It was weird."
"What do you mean?"
Kita frowns.
"So we hung out for a bit by the beach. And after some time I mustered up the courage to tell her! She seemed unphased. Like if she knew this whole time or something. But she said she can't accept my feelings... because she's not the one for me."
"Not the one?"
Kita slowly nods and chuckles awkwardly.
"I don't really get it. She says there's someone already out there for me. I don't understand..."
