Walking home felt like a blur. The only thing I remember was getting home, going to my room, and not coming out. I didn't do anything besides laying in bed thinking about all the times I shared with Kita. But that just turned into tears over and over again. I feel like an idiot for being in this state. But nobody is seeing me like this so I guess it's fine. Part of me feels like I'm overreacting. Ryo could just say no.
But at that moment I truly realized I was in love with Kita, and there's a chance I would not be with a girl I love for the second time.
And that thought hurts...
Since the next day started the weekend, I didn't do anything nor really talk to anyone. All I did was work on my manga. My mom asked if I was okay but I simply stated I was fine. Whenever I'm down like this I like to be kept alone. What I would have done was talk to Kita about what I'm going through, but since this is about her, I don't want her to know. I don't wanna put any more stress on her. If Ryo turns her down and I tell her I like her, it would be a lot for her to take in.
I'll just keep these feelings to myself. It's not like we'll ever be together anyway.
Suddenly my phone begins to ring. I suspected it was Kita since she's the only one that usually calls me. But instead, it was someone I didn't really expect.
Suzuki?
"Hey Y/N! How's your weekend been so far?"
"I've been alright. I'm surprised you called me. Is it about the manga?"
"Nope. Just wanna ask if you're free tomorrow. Nee-chan and Mitsuya will be cooking dinner tomorrow if you wanna come!"
"Oh ok, I'll come then."
"Alright! See ya then!"
She hangs up the phone.
Well I have plans now.
I wanted to do nothing this whole weekend, but I can't turn down food from Yui. And it's been a bit since I've last been to Suzuki's house. This will help get my mind off Kita. Just focus on the festival. Nothing else. I don't have time for love.

I arrive at the front door of Suzuki's house and knock. Shortly after the door opens revealing Suzuki.
"Welcome!"
"Hey! We should've invited Gotoh-san now when I think about it."
"I did but she has a date with Zenki today."
"Ah..."
They're probably having fun right now.
Suddenly Kita pops into my mind. It would be really amazing if we were on a date. Well... technically you could say we've been on dates since we've hung out with just the two of us... No, those weren't dates. Just hanging out.
"You good?"
"Hm? Oh uh yeah I'm good. I was just thinking."
"Oh, alright then."
We head inside and into the kitchen to see Mitsuya and Yui.
"Munchkin! How have you been?"
"I've been okay. How have you and your cooking partner Mitsuya been?"
