The sun was now beginning to set. After being outside the whole day we were all starting to get a little tired. We walk down a trail heading to a spot to make our tents.
"What did you think of today? Isn't it nice being around nature?" Suzuki asks me.
"You know... it was actually quite enjoyable."
Suzuki gives a cheeky smile.
"Tee hee! I knew it! I told you I'm always right!"
"Heh whatever..."
We walk together in silence for a few minutes until she suddenly breaks it out of nowhere.
"Y/N, there's something I need to tell you."
"Oh uh what is it? D-Did someone confess to you or something again."
Suzuki looks towards the ground with a rather gloomy face.
"No... nothing like that..."
"... Then what is it?"
She pauses for a moment. She looks up at me and smiles brightly.
"I'll tell you later. I still have time!"
Still have time?
What is she planning on telling me during this trip? Now I'm curious and I don't like it. This feels like that type of suspense where all you wanna do is find out.
"Now this is interesting." Zenki whispers into my ear.
"WHERE DID YOU COME FROM!"
"I was just behind you. It's not like I'm going to disappear man."
"Well don't do that again! And don't eardrop into people's conversations!"
"It's not like you guys were talking quietly."
"Well... still!"

The teacher takes us to a spot to set up the tents. After that was done, he lets us be for the rest of the night. Before he left he let us know where he and the other groups would be in case something happened.
We all sit in a circle.
"Welp, now what?" Suzuki asks.
"Uh, I don't know. What do you all wanna talk about?"
"Let's talk about love." Zenki says with a smirk.
"Love?" The three of us say simultaneously.
"Yes! Anybody you guys find cute? You're an athlete Suzuki-chan. I know there are definitely some boys you find cute!"
Her face turns red slightly.
"Well, I would be lying if I said there weren't a few people I find attractive."
Ah.
So there are people she finds cute. I'm not really surprised about it. I kinda expected this. But it still hurts.
"Ooo! Any names?"
"I'm not telling you!"
"Aw man! You're no fun!"
"You... you would probably tell someone like Akito about all of this."
Zenki looks at Suzuki in disbelief.
"You think I'd tell him that?"
"I mean... your friends with him so..."
Zenki bursts out laughing.
