Suzuki and Gotoh come back with a bunch of bags. Gotoh looks on at Ryo and Nijika in surprise.
"Hey Bocchi-chan!"
"Nijika-san? Ryo-san?"
"Yep! It's us! We're looking for some spots that'll be good to promote our band stuff. Didn't think you were in love. Ah, look at you spreading your wings!"
Bocchi starts to blush.
"H-He's a good guy okay? Are you getting anyone chocolate?..."
"Nope! Besides Nee-chan no one! I don't like anyone."
"O-Oh I see."
"Aw, Bocchi-chan! Now you're making me feel lonely!"
Lonely?
"S-Sorry!"
"No, make her feel bad. You have someone you love while Nijika doesn't."
Nijika smacks the back of Ryo's head.
"Enough with your stupid remarks!"
After that happened we all ended up getting together to find Gotoh some chocolate.
"It doesn't have to be anything crazy Gotoh-san. Just some milk chocolate would be fine." Suzuki says.
"I agree. Just giving him chocolate alone I think would make him really happy."
After all my gift made Kita really happy.
Gotoh nods looking rather confident than usual. She picks up a Crunch bar.
"I-I think this would be good."
Good taste.
She buys it and we all head out of the store. It didn't take long for us to find a card. Gotoh's simple when it comes to picking this sort of stuff. But what I'm most curious about is what she'll write in it.
We check out the ramen shop Ryo was talking about earlier and decide to eat there.
"I think you're set for Valentine's Day! Let me know how it goes Gotoh-san!"
"Okay."
As time went on they talked about random stuff, but it slowly morphed into the infamous girl talk.
"How's Kita-chan been in the art club?" Nijika asks me.
"Oh, she's been doing great with her art."
"That's cool! Look at her being a musician and an artist at the same time!"
"Yeah, it really is amazing."
"Wanna get her some chocolate?"
"I wasn't planning on getting anyone anything. Especially her. I don't wanna make it seem like I'm in love with her or anything."
"I get what you mean. You might be overthinking it though!"
"Maybe I am. Valentine's Day feels like that one day of the year where people indirectly remind me that I'm single."
Nijika chuckles.
"I know that feeling! It feels the same way for me at school too. And now Bocchi-chan is about to confess to someone. It makes me feel left out! Sheesh!"
"Recently I've been feeling somewhat lonely. When you mentioned that earlier it got me thinking, and it made me realize I feel that way too. Having a significant other must be nice."
"Yeah, you're right! Part of me thought you liked Kita-chan."
"Huh? You too?"
Nijika lets out an awkward laugh.
