"so cam. you mind if i call you cam cameron?" jere smirked.

they were all sitting around the table for dinner that night

"mhm. yeah, man. feel free." cam cameron replied with a smile.

"cool."

"i'm glad you're here, cameron. i know your mom, denise, from the club. i've heard a lot about you." susannah smiled.

"thank you so much for having me, susannah." cam cameron smiled back.

eden half-smiled. she really liked cam cameron. she truly hoped this worked out for belly. she deserved to be with a nice guy like cam cameron.

"of course, hon. i'm so happy our belly finally has a boyfriend. i mean, i'm so used to meeting all of eden's boyfriends. it's nice to see that our little doll has finally grown up." susannah continued, still smiling.

eden's smile faded.

all of eden's boyfriends.

that sure made her feel good.

"wow, mom. you're making it sound like i get passed around." eden spoke up.

she earned a snort from taylor and a "hm" from jace.

she looked at both of them before putting her fork down.

"i need to use the restroom."

she scooted her chair back and left the table, not caring enough to push the chair back in.

she went into the bathroom and closed the door, locking it.

she paced back and forth, shaking out her hands.

she splashed some cold water on her face, then sat on the toilet to think for a few moments.

after gathering her, thoughts, she went up to the mirror and smiled into it, fixing her hair.

after signing, she went back to the table and sat down.

"hey, eden, we were thinking of going to nicole's party. you in?" steven raised his eyebrows.

she nodded. "i'm in."

after getting dressed into a short, sheer golden dress that highlighted every curve of her body and showed plenty of cleavage.

she curled the ends of her hair then did some light, but noticeable makeup.

when she was finishing up, she heard a knock on the wall.

she looked behind her to see jace.

"hi. i've come to apologize."

"for what?"

he exhaled. "for my little...act at dinner and for the whole...taylor thing. i'm sorry for being an asshole. i don't see taylor like that at all. i only want you."

she sighed. "i'm sorry, too. i didn't mean to overreact like that, she was just getting to me."

"i know. i'm sorry about that too."

she shrugged. "not your fault."

she then finished her lipgloss and turned back around.
