the kids were in the theatre watching a movie, which was where they were going to sleep that night.
eden had told taylor about the weed and she wanted to bank an apple bong, like she saw on tik tok, so she was trying to carve the apple correctly.
steven went to shove a nacho in his mouth but dropped it on himself.
"shit." he muttered.
"steven, that is so disgusting." eden commented.
"what? that i dropped something? we all drop food once in a while, okay?" he retorted.
"that doesn't take away from the fact that you're making a disgusting mess." she argued.
"you're a disgusting mess!" he whisper-shouted.
she gasped. "you're so rude!"
she then hit him on the arm.
"hey! domestic violence!" he pointed.
"shush! shush! there are people trying to watch the movie!" eden shushed him.
"you're the one being loud!" he replied.
she went to say something, but cam cameron interrupted.
"guys, there's extra napkins if you need them." he said and handed steven napkins.
"thanks, cam cameron. the slob will clean up after himself." eden joked.
steven balled up the dirty napkin and threw it at her.
"hey!" she exclaimed.
he laughed and she flicked him.
"hey, no. flicking is off-limits, we've talked about this." steven reminded.
she shook her head. "i don't think i remember this conversation."
"you were probably high." he shrugged.
"you wanna go there?"
"mhm."
"really?"
"yup."
"you're gonna regret it." she smirked.
"i'll see it when i believe it." he responded.
"oh, you'll see it and you'll surely be believing it." she nodded.
"okay."
"okay."
she then smiled at him and looked him up and down.
god, was he handsome. from he deep, chocolate-colored to his fair skin and the small freckles sprinkled on his forehead and cheeks, his jet black hair. he was just perfect. how could she get so lucky? how could he be happening to her? she didn't deserve him.
"i don't deserve you." she spoke up.
the smile on his face slowly faded away.
"what?"
"i mean, you're steven. perfect steven and i broke you. i just don't know how you can forgive me and still want to be with someone so messy." she shook her head.
"well you're supposed to love someone despite their messiness, right?" he raised his eyebrows.
"i guess so."
"everyone has flaws and that's what makes people them. we love people no matter their flaws. that's part of what love is." steven explained. "and i know that i love you even though you have many, many flaws."
she smiled and shook her head. "shut up."
"but seriously, princess, i love you and you love me. we deserve each other."
