fifty four💗 (christmas upload)

christmas was always at selenes house. she loved to decorate her house, tying ribbon bows on the counters and doors and hanging christmas lights all over the house.

a few days after thanksgiving is when she put up her tree, with the help of logan and amaya. it was normally  the three of them plus whoever else they wanted to invite. but this year it was just them. everyone else went out of town for family.

amaya was going to see her family before coming to selenes house and logan's flight got canceled because of a blizzard in his home town. selenes family was coming into town but they wouldn't be staying.

when amaya arrived she had on black jeans and a cream sweater. she had a few presents that selene told her to put in her room. she always did family presents and friend presents separately so her extended family didn't feel the need to buy things for people they didn't know.

selene wore a red, white and black striped cropped sweater and a black skirt. her hair was half up half down with two ponytails at the top, red ribbon bows tied around the ponytails.

"you look cute." amaya said while leaning against the counter selene was mixing chocolate cake at.

"thanks.. we have to get pictures, i need pictures for my wall." amaya hated pictures, but for her best friend, she'd do anything.

"is logan coming?" amaya slightly changed the subject.

"uhm, i think he's on his way... he had to stop to get something." selene looked up from her batter.

"why?" amaya shrugged.

"just asking." really she had gotten selene a gift that she was excited about, a gift that didn't include logan. selene and amaya didn't have a label on what they had. they kissed and slept together once but, that was it.

her parents and logan arrived right as she finished cooking. they sat down and had dinner, then she opened presents with her family. logan and amaya sat talking in the kitchen as to not interrupt their family time.

her parents left about two hours later. selene bought all the gifts out from her room and tucked them under the tree.

"we can open them as soon so you guys are ready." selene said while pouring herself another mug of hot chocolate.

"i'm ready now." amaya said from the couch, pausing the movie they were watching.

"okay then." she got comfortable on the floor in front of the tree and sorted through their gifts, passing them to whoever's name was on the wrapping paper. the pile of gifts was more than she expected, but she was very excited.

they opened their gifts together. amaya had gotten a new gold bracelet from logan, a few t-shirts from selene. a hooded flannel from logan, as well as a carhartt beanie and the matching jacket.

selene got a black long sleeve jumpsuit from amaya, earrings she was eyeing at target but decided to not get. some new hair clips and ponytail holders and a mug for her collection. logan had gotten her a wearable blanket, fuzzy socks and a new stanley cup. he also got her a cloud charm and straw topper for her new cup. and a perfume she mentioned she loved.

logan got a new watch from amaya and cologne, along with some undershirts he'd been saying he needed. from selene he got a new wallet with three different gift cards. he thought he didn't need a new wallet but, selene hated his wallet for some reason. she also got him underwear, socks and a set of black, grey and white hoodies.

there were two gifts left for selene, one from logan and the other from amaya. selene unwrapped the first gift and quickly closed the box back. amaya could only smirk at her.
