amaya was always first to wake up. she'd normally shower, get ready for the day and make breakfast while selene slept in. today didn't seem to be any different, she woke up and stretched a bit before gently gripping selene's thigh and pulled her closer. she pressed kisses to the brunettes face, moving her hand up to tuck her hair out of her face. a faint red caught her attention on her finger tips and she stopped, softly pulling the blanket up.
"my love." she said softly, attempting to awake selene. she was a hard sleeper so it took a bit before her brown eyes finally fluttered open, shoving her head into amaya's chest.
"let's get you into a bath." amaya said while pressing a kiss to her girlfriends face. selene was a bit confused about what her blond haired girlfriend was talking about but she quickly realized as the cramps began to start. amaya climbed out of the bed and washed her hands before rushing to start up a warm bath, sprinkling in some epson salt. she walked back to the bed while pulling her hair into a ponytail, scooping up selene.
"i'm sorry." selene said with a quiet whine. she felt bad about the fact that amaya had to do this. she wished she would've noticed it before.
"it's okay baby, i don't mind." amaya knew how the brown eyed girl got during this time, and all she could do was make her as comfortable as possible.
"can i help you get undressed?" the green eyed girl asked, kissing selene's forehead. (amaya is blond hair green eyes and selene is brown hair brown eyes.)
"please." she whimpered, eyes glossing over. amaya carefully undressed her lover and helped her into the bath, making sure she was okay before rushing to get her some medicine. she grabbed some ibuprofen and a water bottle and walked back to the brunette, kneeling next to the bathtub.
"here you go." she said while handing her the medicine and water.
"need anything else?" she said softly, pulling the brunette hair into a bun. she shook her head softly and rested against the back of the tub. amaya pressed a kiss to selene's lips before walking back to the bedroom, pulling out a new sheet set and placed it on the nightstand. there wasn't much of a mess on the sheet but she still stripped the bed, spraying it down with lysol before putting on the new sheets. she got the bed remade and pulled a new comforter from the closet, spreading it across the bed neatly.
she scooped up the dirty sheets and clothes and tossed them into the washer, walking to the kitchen to start breakfast. she made french toast, which was selene's favorite, and some bacon. she cut up strawberries and neatly arranged them on the plate with some whipped cream. she made her way back to the room, selene sitting on the bed wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants.
"baby." amaya said softly, climbing onto the bed besides her lover.
"what's that." the brunette asked, eyes looking up at amaya.
"french toast and bacon." she said softly, handing her the plate while kissing her cheek.
"where's yours?" selene asked, looking up at the blond.
"i wasn't too hungry." amaya said while sitting on the bed besides the brunette.
"do you want a heating pad, or anything else?" the blond asked while taking her hair out of the ponytail.
"no, but thank you my love." she cooed, opening her arms for amaya. the blond immediately cuddled into the brunette and softly rubbed her back. selene cut off a piece of the toast and slipped it into her mouth, humming softly at how good amaya's cooking was every single time.
"baby." selene said while pushing a piece of the french toast to amaya's mouth. selene continued to eat while feeding amaya some of the food before sitting the plate on the nightstand, pulling the blond further up on her chest. the two stared into each others eyes, hands slowly lacing together.
"such a pretty girl." amaya said softly, pushing a kiss to selene's cheek. the blond rested down against selene and reached for the remote to turn on their favorite movie. selene eventually laid down with amaya, cuddling her closely.
"thank you.. for helping me this morning." selene said softly. the blond sat her head up with a smile, pressing a kiss to the brunettes chest.
"of course." she said before laying back against her lover. the rest of the day they laid cuddled together, amaya making sure selene didn't need anything and if she did she'd rush to go get it. the two ended up falling back asleep after a few hours of movies and cuddling.
