this is lime, a study session that gets a little out of hand (:

leo and finn shared the same math class, and sat at the same table. they weren't too close but talked every once in awhile when the teacher was going too fast or they didn't understand something.
leo was closeted, he wasn't sure how the people around him would act knowing he was gay. the only person that knew was his best friend, but he moved away a few months ago.
finn was pretty sure he was straight, but he did sometimes wonder about trying things with guys. but he would never admit that. his friends seemed to be the homophobic type, but he wasn't too sure. the only thing he'd ever heard his friends say about anything like that was about threesome's, but that didn't count to finn.
soon they had a pretty big test coming up and the two decided to study together. they noticed the other understood things they didn't so it seemed like a good idea.
they didn't know each other too well so they decided to meet at the public library. this happened to be leo's favorite place to be. it was always relatively empty and even when it wasn't the atmosphere was always calm and cozy.
he found a nice, relatively quiet area and texted finn where he was. he unloaded his computer and binder before he noticed finn was sitting in front of him.
"good morning, sorry i'm late.. i stopped to get us some breakfast." leo smiled and took the coffee he was being handed.
"thank you, i was just thinking i should've got something to eat." finn smiled and handed him one of the breakfast burritos. the ate a little bit before getting started with their study session. finn made a few cards for leo to answer and finn just figured he could kind of just re teach him.
finn realized the way leo looked at him. the way he'd look away when he was caught staring with bright red cheeks.
"you need help?" finn asked while looking at leo, who was sorta lost in a daze.
"oh, uhm no.. i think i got it." the brunette said while looking back down. finn smiled and looked down at his paper, glancing back up to leo.
"can you help me with this one?" the blond asked while pointing to a question. the brunette leaned over the table and began explaining the question. but the problem was finn completely understood at this point. he just wanted leo to be close to him again. he liked looking into his dark green eyes.
"got it?" the brunette said with a smile, staring back into his blue eyes.
"yeah.." the blond said and reached his hand up to cup the brunettes cheek. he felt leo's face get hot in his hands, his eyes darting away but he didn't move away, to be honest he liked the feeling of finn holding his face.
"what-" he was cut off by the blond lifting up, their faces inches apart. finn leaned forwards so their noses touched. leo was practically melting under the blue eyes that stared into his.
"is... it okay if, i kiss you?" the blond muttered. he didn't really want to admit that he wanted to kiss leo, but he really did want to kiss him.
"yes, please." that's all finn needed to hear before he pressed their lips together. he hummed at the feeling of the brunettes lips, pulling their faces closer together. the brunette held onto finn's wrist softly before he felt the blond pulling away. he blushed as the brunette looked away.
"i'm sorry, i think i've wanted to do that for a really long time." finn started, sitting back into his seat,
"i didn't know you, were gay." leo muttered, unable to focus on his studying.
"well, i'm... not. i mean, i don't know." leo laughed softly.
"well you did just kiss me, so..." finn laughed with him.
"yeah, it's all a little confusing... i think i'm scared to admit it because of my friend group." he said while beginning to continue the problem he was working on.
"well if you don't feel comfortable telling them that, they probably aren't your friends." finn hummed.
"yeah, i've known them for a long time though, so i guess i just don't want to... believe it." the brunette nodded and picked back up his pencil.
"i understand that.. i'm only out to my best friend.. and, well you now i guess." eventually the heavy, awkward atmosphere lifted as they continued to talk. they did fall back into studying. by this point they understood what they needed for the test but still sat in the library and worked on other things from other classes. when they did decide to get going it was only to relocate, at a restaurant for some well needed lunch.

they hung out a lot after this. they became their own personal tutors and partners at any chance they got. finn eventually grew more open with himself. he admitted to himself that he did like boys and that was completely okay, no matter how the people around him reacted.
they would experiment a little bit with each other. they'd pass little kisses on the cheek in class or in the hallways. in private they were a little more touchy, but really just enjoying their time with each other. they could both say that studying in the library that day was beneficial, not only for the test but for themselves.
