Chapter 15

Becky's POV

Coming down the stairs with my luggages. I could hear Martha asking Freen when she will be coming back to visit again. Apparently, we will be leaving for Thailand in less than an hour.

"When will you be coming back? I want you to come with Becky again" she goes on saying with a sad expression.

Freen let out a little sweet laugh and held her by the arm. "don't worry mom, we will be back before you know it and I would love to bring her back here again" she said trying to console her.

I was in the car when they finished talking, and on his arrival to the car. She asked me if I needed something before we begin our journey but I shooked my head in reply.

I didn't want anything. all I wanted was to get back home. I missed Irin so much and I wanted to see her so badly although am sure that she is very angry with me at the moment.

I didn't tell her about the sudden journey, it was sudden I know but I should have at least call and tell her I will be gone for sometime. I shivered in fear thinking about how angry Irin can get. I need to think of something to tell her fast, something that can instantly calm her down otherwise am doomed.

I shivered at the thought again. "are you cold? "I heard Freen asking when she noticed that I was shivering. I nodded in response. There was no need denying it because I was indeed shivering, however not from cold but from the fear of Irin's wrath...

We got back in Uganda around 8pm and I was very tired. I wasn't really hungry, all I needed at that very moment was a refreshing bath and some sleep.

I dragged myself to my room walking like the walking-deads in the movie Game of thrones or the movie Resident evil but it was more like both. I think I really look like either of the walking deads how I even managed to shower and got in bed was a complete mystery to me, but I did it anyway and slept off like a baby...

"Becky,Becky where are you? Come out right now" I heard Irin yell out my name and orders as she stormed into my room.

I immediately stood up from the bed and raised my hands in mock surrender then rushed on saying "look, Iam sorry Irin, Iam really sorry OK? You have the right to be mad at me but everything happened so fast. I didn't even time to retaliate. you know I would never want to hurt you".

I crossed my heart using my hands to demonstrate, and gave her my best puppy eyes look which made her burst out laughing at my mimi break down show and I smiled... I never liked it when she is angry with me which is why I normally avoid things that could hurt her.

She then looked at me happily and said "I can't ever stay mad with you Becky. I missed you so much", we hugged each other fondly but suddenly she drew back as if she had been shocked and gasped "girl, you gonna tell me all that had happened there later OK?".

I nodded and salute her mockingly earning myself a smack on the head. Now there goes the bestfriends I know. I mentally thought to myself.
