If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things.– Albert Einstein

Y/N POV

5 Days Later

Scarlett was asleep in the hotel bed when I collapsed next to her. We've been filming nonstop the last several days. There hasn't been any time that Scarlett and I have been alone besides when we collapse into our bed and then sleep hits us quickly. Lily has been sick, which means she's up all hours of the night. While Scarlett and I usually take turns, I've been trying to relieve her by getting up every time Lily cries. It's the least I can do since I haven't been around in months.

Not wanting to disturb Scarlett from a peaceful night's sleep, I turn over and rest my head on my pillow. My eyes close, but before I can entirely fall asleep. Scarlett shifts over to my side of the bed, wraps her arms around me and pulls me into her. Her hand nestles in the crook of my neck after she kisses my cheek.

"It's cold over there." She mumbles. Her voice is raspier than usual, and I chuckle.

"I didn't want—" I whisper, but the last sentence is cut off with a sneeze that I try to stifle with my sleeve.

"Oh, babe. You feeling okay?" Scarlett props herself up slightly on her elbow, feeling my forehead.

"I'm okay," I say while I sniffle.

Scarlett hums in disbelief, and I almost hear her raise a skeptical eyebrow. "You're slightly warm."

"I'm fine, just tired, but I'll pop some Advil just in case." Sliding out from Scarlett's grasp, I head to the bathroom where the Advil was and fill a glass of water. Looking in the mirror, it's apparent how exhausted I am. The make-up team will be on overtime with my face tomorrow. As I throw back the Advil and water, Scarlett walks into the bathroom and wraps her arms around me from behind before resting her head on my shoulder.

"You look exhausted." She kisses the side of my cheek. "You know you don't have to do everything all the time."

I exaggerate my gasp and try to look offended. "Ms. Johansson, did you just tell me I look like shit."

A blush appears on her face as she starts to stutter. "No...I didn't...I..."

I can't help but chuckle. "I'm kidding." I give her a kiss on the cheek. "We've known each other long enough that I won't get offended by you calling me out for looking bad. I'll see if Melissa or Jess can swing by the pharmacy and pick up some Buckley's and Neocitran tomorrow." Scarlett cocks her eyebrow at me in slight confusion. "Right. They're cold and flu medications that are available in Canada. Probably the best products, although Buckley's tastes awful, but it works." I chuckle as I quote their commercial. Scarlett shakes her head.

"Let's go back to bed." I nod as I try to stifle a yawn. Scarlett takes my hand, leading me back to bed as I turn off the bathroom light.

A few minutes later, my head rested on my pillow with Scarlett's arms wrapped around me. It doesn't take long before my body starts to feel heavy as my breathing relaxes. Before I could drift to sleep completely. Lily's cries broke the silence. My eyes were having difficulty opening, but I began to slide out of the bed.

"Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N. If you leave this bed one more time, unless it's getting up for work, it'll be the last thing you do." My body slumps back into bed as I look at Scarlett. Her eyebrow is raised, and she's giving me the stern, 'don't fuck with me' angry look. "I get you want to help, but you are useless to anyone if you are sick and worn down. I've got this." Scarlett's voice is raspy and tired. She gets up and tucks me in more before kissing my forehead. Sleep overtakes me quickly, and I feel my whole body relax. Nonetheless, I don't fall asleep completely until Scarlett returns and wraps her arms around me, pulling me close.
