Chapter Eleven

Beth's POV
Violet has been ignoring me. Ever since my first night in the bar. The night I found out my brother is in love with a reporter who can't tell her work they are together as they will want her to exploit their relationship.

It was the best night ever.

It's been a week, so she surely has gotten over whatever this is now. However, Georgie has invited me out to Emily's night tonight and I can't pass that up.

I'm a new woman now so I can go to Dan's and get drunk with friends.

Georgie told me it would be myself, Lenny, Liv and Cristina.

I enter the bar and Georgie waves me over. She hugs me tightly when I get there. "Thanks for coming," she says. "We haven't started our two hours yet."

"Smart," I say.

"Have you met everyone?" She asks. I shake my head. "Well you know Lenny, this is Liv, she's Seb's partner Jax's wife and then Cristina who works with Liv at the hospital."

"Nice to meet you both," I chirp.

I sit beside Lenny who passes me the menu.

The next hour, we girls are drinking and sharing life stories. I talked about my trip around Australia, Georgie discusses funny stories about Robert and Evan, Liv talks shit about Chelsea (Seb's ex-wife) and Cristina tells some gruesome stories from the hospital.

"Let's play Spill your guts or fill your guts," Liv suggests. "Except with alcohol."

"Sounds fun," Cristina says.

"I'll go grab a pen and paper for Lenny," Georgie says. She rushes over to the bar and comes back with those items. "Lenny you start us off."

Lenny quickly writes a question down. She holds it up to Cristina. Who was your worst hookup?

"Oh that's easy," she says. "Ricky from the supermarket."

Liv scowls in disgust. "Really?"

"Sadly," Cristina sighs. "My turn," she chirps. "Georgie, how big is Cole's dick?"

"Seven inches," she answers. "And pierced."

"What's that like?" Liv asks. "I hear it makes the sex better."

Georgie smirks. "It does."

We all giggle like school girls.

"Beth," Georgie starts. "Did you hook up in Australia?"

"No," I answer. "I wanted to have a good time with Violet."

"But Australian men are so hot," Cristina moans. "The accents, the tans and don't get me started on the mullets."

"You're weird," Liv mutters.

We stop talking when Dan walks over and he quirks an eyebrow. "You girls are up to something," he murmurs.

"No," we all say. Lenny has written it down.

He hums. "Do you need more drinks?"

"We are past drinks," Liv says. "We need shots."

He frowns. "They aren't on the menu for Emily's nights."

"That doesn't matter," Liv says. She goes through her purse and passes Dan a credit card. "Jax's shout."

Dan chuckles. "Does he know that?"

"I am his wife," Liv says. "Happy wife, happy life right?"

"I'll keep them coming," Dan says, his eyes full of amusement. He lands on me. "Good to see you back Beth."

"Happy to be here," I say. He walks away and all the girls stare at me. "What?"

"You hitting that?" Liv questions.

"Liv," Georgie hisses.

"No," I answer. "Dan is my friend."

"He's gorgeous," Cristina sighs dreamily.

"You two seem close is all," Liv says. "But I guess I can believe you're just friends."

"Dan doesn't do relationships," I tell her. "Sure six years ago when I first started I liked him but then we formed a friendship and that's all we were."

"He hasn't had sex in two years," Georgie says. "He told Cole that the next girl he is with, it will be serious."

I frown. "He's ready to move on."

Georgie nods. "He is."

Dan walks back over and places shots in front of us. "You guys are looking at me weirdly," he says. "Something on my face?"

"Ooh you'd look sexy with a beard," Cristina says.

He smiles. "Do I need to cut you off?"

"She's a flirty drinker," Liv says. "But I do agree with her."

"I'm going to go before you start undressing with me with your eyes," he says. He walks back to the bar.

"Beth your turn to ask a question," Georgie says.

"Lenny," I say. "Favorite sex position?"

Lenny blushes grabs a shot from the tray and throws it back. She makes a face and we all laugh. "I bet you like to be on top," Liv says.

Lenny sticks her tongue out at her. Lenny writes her next question. Liv, how many orgasms have you had in one night?

"Six," she answers. "Ladies don't waste your honeymoon is all I'm saying."

"That's a lot," Cristina says.

"Not with Jax," Liv says. "He likes to eat."

"And you like to suck," Cristina taunts.

"Who doesn't?" She questions. "Right, Beth?"

"Right," I laugh awkwardly.

"Beth," she says slowly. "Have you given a blowjob?"

I feel all their eyes on me. "No," I admit, whispering. "I haven't done anything."

"Anything? But you-" Liv's eyes sadden. "Oh, Beth."

"Excuse me," I croak. I push past Georgie and rush outside for some air.

God, they probably think I'm so pathetic.
