I woke up early and headed to Nathan's and Haley's. Mom's letting me use her car for school every couple of days. I picked up some donuts and coffee.
''Knock, knock!" I yell using my key to get into the pairs apartment.
"Room!"
I enter the room, hand them their coffee and jump on their bed.
''Is this the new morning routine? you bringing us breakfast in bed?'' Nathan asks, leaning against the headboard.
''Like you have a problem getting free food.'' I rolled my eyes, making myself more comfortable.
''She's right. Free food is amazing.'' Haley grins popping some donuts into her mouth.
"Besides, you love having me here, I am your big sister after all.''
''By three months, get over it.'' Nathan chuckles.
''Still counts.'' Haley and I shrug together.
Ever since Luke left and the whole Jake thing, I'd been really lonely. So Haley and Nate have been stuck with me. I mean Yeah I've been hanging out with Peyton, Skills and Brooke too, but mainly my brother and, well, sister-in-law.
''So, how's Luke?'' haley asked.
''Fine I guess, I haven't spoken to him.''
"Dude, he's been gone for two days, only two.'' Nathan stated.
Nathan's phone rang, causing him to groan.
''This weekend was going so good until I turned this back on.'' Nathan rolled his eyes
''Who is it?'' I asked.
''My mom. She probably wants her car.''
''In that case don't answer.'' Haley smiles, grabbing his phone.
Nathan laughed grabbing his phone back.
''Give me that.'' He lifts the phone to his ear to listen to a message.
As Nathan listens to the message his face turned to worried.
''Bad news?'' Hales asked.
''My dad's in the hospital... He had a heart attack.''
My eyes widen as I scoot closer to him.
''Oh no! Is he going to be OK?'' Haley asked.
''I-I don't know, my mom just left it on my voicemail.''
''He'll be fine Nate. Not even a heart attack can kill Dan Scott.'' I joke, making him smile a little.
''I'm sorry Nathan.'' Haley grabbed his hand.
''Yeah I gotta go see him.'' Nate said standing up .
''Yeah, I'll go with you.'' Haley and I said together standing up.
