Lucas and Nathan follows Dan outside, soon followed by the three kids.

''Grandpa!''

''Grandpa!''

''Jamie! Jamie!'' ''Keith! Kayson!''

''Hey, little buddies.''

I stop beside Haley as the kids look at their grandfather.

''I got to go now. You go back to your moms, okay? Go on. Go on.'' My sperm donor smiled at the kids from his spot on the ground.

Jamie nods before following after his mother.

''Grandpa?'' Keith whispers.

Dan's eyes scan everywhere but my son.

''Yeah?''

''Thank you.''

Keithy ran over to me as Kayson continues to look at the man.

''Mommy and Uncle Lucas and Uncle Nathan don't like you.''

Dan nodded, ''I know.''

''but thanks for saving Keithy and Jamie....I thought they weren't coming back like daddy and Uncle Keith.''

Kayson turns and held her arms out to Luke, who picked the girl up. Dan swallowed thickly, eyes glazing over for a second before he stood up an walked away.

**One Month Later**

''Brooke, this is Lena. Lena, Brooke.''

Lena interviews the adults who want to foster or adopt before handing the case over to Tommy or me. She did the same thing when it came to Kam and Mikey. Tommy thought that since we're friends with Brooke that it'd be better to have some one else to see if they are eligible or not.

'Come in. We can sit at the table.''

Brooke led us to the dining room. Both she and Lena liked the idea of me being there for the interview, Brooke because I can usually calm her down and Lena cause... well i don't really know why.

''Well, my name is Brooke Davis, and I own a fashion line called Clothes Over Bro's, which, before you read too much into it, is very boy-friendly, just clothes-friendlier. Anyway, I attended the orientation, so I took the liberty of drawing up a statement of my financial worth. I think you'll be very pleased.''

'' How old are you, Brooke?''

''22. But I lead a rather accelerated lifestyle with the fashion line and the magazine. And I did read somewhere that 25 is the average age for women to...''

''Do you own your own home?''

''Yes.''

''Are you sexually active?''

My eyes widen knowing Brooke was going to make an inappropriate joke, even after I told her not to the day before.

''Lately, no, but not for a lack of trying. ''
