The twins and I have been home for about three weeks now.... let me tell you something I NEED SLEEP!
''Please just shut your eyes Keithy. Mommy needs sleep.'' I beg my little boy as I rocked him in the rocking chair.
Kayse had just closed her eyes in her crib, which i was thankful for. I sigh seeing Keithy close his eyes. After waiting a couple of minutes I laid him down and made my way to the door...Only for the two to began screaming.
''For fuck sake.''
I let my head drop in defeat once more before picking both kids up and sitting back down.
''I love you guys, but you're being complete assholes right now.'' I whisper, closing my eyes for a brief second as i head the door open.
''Hey babe.''
''Hi mommy.'' I whimpered.
Mom smiles at me, shaking her head.
''It's three in the morning.''
'' I know. they won't stop! I need sleep mommy. Help me.'' I beg the older woman.
Mom gave me one more smile as she scooped up Kayson, who quit crying automatically.
''Traitor.'' I half glared at my daughter.
Mom soon had the little girl out again and reached for Keith.
''Now, give me my grandson. You go to bed.''
''It's okay mom. You should be asleep.''
''I haven't slept much since your uncle died..... This helps.''
I gave my mom a sorrowful smile before standing up.
