19: red roses

"You're such a baby" he tease while staring at her, watching her drink the milk he bought for her.

Haneul send a glares to him, wanting to punch him in the face so much but it his luck that he's not in condition to get a punch from her. Haneul once again wrapped her arms around Heeseung neck, hugging him out of worried.

"You should've been more careful, I thought I'm gonna lose you again..", Haneul words filled with worries, anxious, and though of blaming herself if something really did happened to Heeseung. Not that she's didn't lost her trust, but being apart and reunited after few years was hard for Haneul.

Just imagining her losing him making her chest tighten, as if it's hard for her to breathe.

Heeseung hands went up to her back, slowly caressing her back. Soft smile plastered on his face, realize she's not in a mood to joke around yet. Though he looks fine, smiling and teasing doesn't mean he's okay. All the time his mind was talking about Haneul.

Even when he's injured, he still bring up Haneul name to people. Doesn't want her to worried, but ended up here. Having her close inside his embrace.

"Shh, shh, I'm okay. I'm gonna get better really fast so I can bring you to somewhere like we promised." He pulls away and wipe a few drop of her tears on her cheek, Haneul sobbed while her other hands still holding onto his sleeves. Like a kid that doesn't want to be left alone.

Heeseung let out a sigh and pull her chin up to make her look into his eyes. "Fine, I'm sorry for making you worried love. This is something we didn't expect to happen, plus also something we don't want to happen either." He reassured her while caressing her hair.

Haneul looks at Heeseung in her teary and red cheeks. "please don't get hurt okay?". Her tone is enough to tell that she really worried about him and doesn't want this accident happened again.

Soft chuckle escaped his lips as his hands find it's way to her soft bubbly cheek, caressing it softly.

"I promise." He smiled genuinely.

He pulled her back into his arm. Letting the time passed by. That feeling when he feels the responsibility he has on Haneul is big. Knowing she tried everything to overcome her trauma, the feeling of fear of losing someone.

-TIME SKIP-

Two weeks passed after that day, Heeseung recovered well from his injury.  And today is sort of way  make it up to her. Heeseung has been focusing on his recovery but still spare some time to spend part of his time to find a way to make up to her girlfriend.

One of the guy he asked for help, the guy of people's addiction.

When that one guy stepped onto this kind of matter and the guy who bluntly follow everything he learn from. Spending night and day, talking on the phone with Jake. Because of the circumstances doesn't let them meet when his guy friends is on honeymoon and there he are, interrupting the love birds.

"Do you think she gonna like this?" Heeseung whispered on his phone, doesn't want to let someone heard him. While his eyes still look around to not make this planned gone wrong but to be in full of surprise.

"Of course. She gonna like it" Jeayun answered him confidently, hearing his scoff over the line.

Heeseung annoyingly rolls his eyes and sigh heavily, devastated about the planned. Doesn't have any self confident about this plan.

"If I fuck up, I hope your wife mad at you for one month" he said, gritting his teeth. Jeayun know damn well he didn't mean that but the thing is he sound  like he really meant it. Jeayun let out nervous chuckle, almost let out his laugh from hearing this kind of reaction from him.
