30: unexpected kiss

"What the heck, I didn't mean that way" I says, controlling my voice from being too loud. He keeps being too serious whenever I talk about everything I concern about. He didn't say anything but to stare at me with those teasing smile while I felt his slowly take mine as he look at it for a moment.

"I need to take measurements of your finger, hmm"  he say while dramatically focused on taking my finger size. I chuckles at his reaction, finding it hilarious. I pulled my hand back and shake my head.

"don't waste your money, you're acting like I'm your girlfriend" I scoff, give him a slight disbelief stare with smirk plastered on my lips. Ni-ki shook his head and sigh, taking my hands again to lock with his. "I'm not kidding when I say I buy it for you. And, so what if I treat you like one? You're not anyone's girlfriend so that's mean I can treat you like one!" He whispered leaning closer to my ear until I could feel his hot breath air hitting my ear making it feels a bit tickling that I end up laughing.

I caught everyone attention that everyone around the table looking at me with confusion. I mouth them "sorry" before I pinch ni-ki waist, low-key whispered - yell to him. "shut up, so childish" I scoffs, rolls my eyes to him and focus back at the two figure on the platform.

"I now present to you all, newest high - technology.." Jake began reading the script he prepared for himself, close to launch his products.

"RUN-YOUNG!" he announced as the product was shown on the big slide at the front. The room fill with cheer and the confetti's that burst from above. It's like confetti rain. Everyone was so excited.

I couldn't help but to catch a glance of heeseung and seoyun together. Heeseung just wrapped his arm around Seoyun, and seoyun also wrapped her arm around heeseung waist. I felt sting on my heart. My eyes trace down to heeseung hand that holding onto seoyun's. The scene was hurting me, and I can't help but to let the jealous feeling boiled.

It feels strange how my heart just shattered and keep telling me to fight for him back. But I won't, he leaves me with resentment. I want to leave everything behind,
But my hearts , hurt a little when I watch him bring seoyun closer inside his embrace.

Not noticing how my hands already clench into fist while staring at the two lovebirds. I got distracted after I felt someone hold my gown from bottom. I frown and quickly look around if I someone just trying to play around. Until I heard gibberish mumbling, I look down and see the kids tugging down my gown. Left me smiling like crazy.

I bend down while the crowd get hype with the celebration. I look at the kid, someone must've lost their focus that they didn't notice if their kids still there or not.

"Oh little guy, do u need anything?" I asked, staring at the kids with lovely look. I picked him up and stand back up, wiping the saliva that keep dripping down from his mouth. It looks like he's around 3 years old.

I tapped ni-ki arm, showin him the baby on my arm. He left a shock expression, panicked when he see me holding someone else child. "what is this! Who's child is this" he asked. I shrug and stayed calm.

"looks like he got lost from his parents, right little guy?" I answered calmly.

"Return him back then!" He says in rush, trying to take the kid back from me. I frown and sigh, "oh come on, we'll return him once the crowd calm a bit" I say, reassuring him again.

Time skip

"Who's up for next round!" Jake says excitedly, he's half drunk and got pregnant woman yet he still on the cloud nine. I shake my head in disbelief, looking at Hwayoung with pity look while she just laugh it out. I looked around, looking at one of the bodyguard there as I approached him.
