THE tmz article seems to be a big hit online. charlotte woke up to it the next morning and decided a drink would be best for breakfast. the comments under the article were mostly people wondering if she and gracie are still together and that she looks a mess and is probably either just wildly unstable or crying for attention — something about wanting more attention since she's been making a shit ton of headlines this year. but whatever people were thinking, she wasn't going to feed into any of it. not like it's anyone's business anyways.
the most refreshing part of it all was that she received no messages or anything from her parents, even though that's just because she blocked their contacts. she had a few missed calls from jude, but she wasn't really up for anymore yelling at all, her ears seem to be begging for a break from it.
so for the duration of this entire week, she's been kept to herself. staying 'happy' and on task at work and pouring several glasses of wine when she'd get home to finally unmask. she hasn't bothered to answer any of maitreyi's texts since she left her after sex without a word, she was too mad to do anything but leave her on read, but still, she craved what maitreyi gave her, no matter how guilty, dirty, and slightly traumatized she felt. it wasn't like she deserved to feel those things anyways. and now, it's friday and she just finished filming an episode for 'ginny & georgia' when her phone goes off as she enters her apartment.
