Allie was still in the chair sleeping and even in her sleep holding Benny's hand, when Alby tapped here shoulder. She woke up with a jolt and quickly stood up looking around fractigly.

"Hey, it's okay" said Alby, his hands in the 'I mean no harm' matter. "I'll be givin' the tour today, was wonderin' if you wanted to join for this one."

Allie, having settled from the abrupt morning wake-up, folded her arms with a sly smirk playing on her face. "For his sake... or yours?" she inquired, the mischievous tone evident in her voice.

Alby rolled his eyes "Alright', woke up sanrky I see." Allie laughed at that and Alby continued with a softer tone "Honestly, I think you two would understand each other. He reminds me of you a bit." when he saw the frown on her face he hurried to add. "Though' he would calm down a bit with you by my side. Ya know."

"Yeah... I'll see, but I'm not promising anythin', okay?"

"It's up to you Lee, 'm not pushin' you into anythin'." Alby said with a kind smile, rare for most of the Glades, turned around and went to find the Greenie.

Allie looked back at Benny and smoothed his sweaty hair out of his face, before walking out of medic part of Homestead. The day was already bright, the Sun looked like it was about to pop over the eastern wall at any minute.

Alby and the Greenie stood by the Box, their expressions a mix of concern and annoyance. As Allie approached, she recognized the familiar look on the leader's face—a clear sign that the new kid struggled to grasp the oversimplified version of  Glades sections. With a quickened pace, Allie joined them without a formal announcement and began explaining.

"Gardens- where we grow the crops. Water is pumped in through pipes in the ground, always has been or we would starve to death a long time ago. Never rains here." she said with a kind smile hoping to ease the Greenies anxiety.

Alby then pointed to the southeast corner, at the animal pens and barn. "Blood House- where we raise and slaughter animals." then he pointed at the pitiful living quarters "Homestead. Stupid place is twice as big than when I first got here because we keep adding to it when they send us wood and clunk. Ain't pretty, but it works. Most of us sleep outside anyway."

Allie noticed Thomas becoming visibly overwhelmed, his face reflecting a cascade of questions. Pointing towards the southwest corner, she directed his attention to the forested area adorned with a collection of sickly trees and benches. "That's what we call the Deadheads. The graveyard is tucked away deeper into the woods there. It's a quiet spot-good for sitting, resting, or just hanging out," she explained. Clearing her throat, Allie sought to shift the focus, and Alby, sensing the discomfort, swiftly changed the subject as well.

"You will spend the next two weeks working one day a piece for our different jobs. Slopper. Bricknick, Bagger, Track-hoe. Something will stick. Always does."
