Alby and Allie were having breakfast with George sleeping in his Hamack when something hard hit them over their head, making them fall unconscious.
Seven months passed since Allie first stepped into the Glade, five Greanbeans arrived since Alby. First was Georgie, he was young, youngest who was ever sent in. Allie immediately grew attached to him, took him under her wing, Alby too. Then Stephen, he was a funny one. Always cracking jokes, creating moonshine, doing everything to catch Allie's attention. Alby always teased her that she should bring the boy out of his misery and at least give him a kiss, Georgie always enthusiastically nodding along while being red in the face.
It was when the fourth Glader came in that the problems started to rise. Alex was different from the start, he separated himself from the group of four, deciding to spend his days on the other side of the Glade. He was aggressive and unstable, he hated the Glade and waned to get out desperately. When Jason arrived Alex got to him, convinced him that with him he would get out of there sooner and alive and Jason caved, falling under Alex's manipulation. Alby, Stephen, George and Allie let them be. They didn't try to get to know each other, just divided the supplies and that was it. They never spoke, they never met up, they never shared, they never had any contact. Lastly there was Alfred. Freddie was neutral. A flighty bird between two groups. But, he leaned more towards Allie's group, and so he brought them information. How Alex said horrible things about their group, that he raved about doing terrible, terrifying things to Allie.
Things were tense in the past few days, and that's when Allie woke up with a horrible headache realizing what happened hours prior. She hurriedly checked Alby over, finding him lying next to her with blood tricking from his head, he had a pulse and breathed and so she got up to where Georgie was supposed to be, but as she expected he wasn't there. Allie ran over to the woods he liked to play in. Georgie always said he liked the sound of leaves rustling over his head, that it reminded him of something from home. But he wasn't there either. Allie made her way to where Alex and Jason were spending their days but they weren't there. Then she ran to the middle of the Glade.
"George! Georgie! Stephen!" She started to breath heavily as they didn't answer. "George! This isn't funny. Come out! Stephen?!" But there was nothing. She was turning around her eyes scanning the Glade until her gaze fell onto the open Door of the Maze. "No." she whispered. "No,no,no,no,no,no... no." she whispered along her way towards the open Door. Allie didn't step inside the Maze since her five-day lasting nightmare. But as she stood there, she knew she had to come over her fears and get inside to find George, Stephen ... and Freddie if he was with them. She ran into the makeshift kitchen to get herself a knife, when she heard a noise coming from behind one of the linen cloths to prevent dust from getting into the food by the wind. Allie slowly turned the direction where the noise came from "Georgie?" she took a few careful step forward. "Steph? Stephen you there?"
