Allie was just coming out of the Homestead after checking up on Teresa when Thomas found her, already in his running gear. Allie guessed that Minho prepared him a bit and was grateful to save some time. They made their way to more secluded part of the Glade. "How do I start?" asked Thomas giddily.
"Two rounds around the Glade." was all she said.
"What? Why?" Thomas whined.
"Three." the brunette crossed her arms.
"Wha-"
"Four."
"You know, you are really annoying."
"Five." was the last thing she said seeing as Thomas started to quickly run so she couldn't give him even more rounds.
Thirty minutes later Thomas made the first round, he seemed a little out of breath but didn't stop, he didn't even look at Allie just sped up a bit. It was when Allie couldn't see him anymore as he turned to run behind some of the trees, that Alby came to see her. "So, how's the trainin' goin'?"
Allie shrugged, "We just started; he only ran one lap."
"And how many does that shuck have left?" Alby asked knowingly.
Allie looked at him with a smirk on her lips. "Four."
Alby chuckled "Are you planning on showin' him why you're trainin' him?"
"Well, not originally, but now that you've mentioned it." Allie winked at him and started running with Alby laughing behind her.
It didn't last long when she saw Thomas only few feet in front of her. "On your left!" she shouted. Allie sped up a bit and eighteen minutes later she saw Thomas again in front of her "On your left."
"Uh-huh, on my left. Got it." said out of breath Thomas. As Allie ran some more, never losing her tempo, she knew Thomas could hear her feet hitting ground behind him once again. "Don't say it! Don't you say it!"
"On your left!" Allie shouted against the new Runners wishes.
"Come on!" Thomas gets angry and tries to catch up to her but only after a few seconds he's unable to carry on and stops to rest. As he's resting catching his breath sitting by a tree Allie walks over to him.
"Need a Med-jack?" she asked teasingly.
Thomas laughs. "I need a new set of lungs."
Allie chuckled. "And you still have one and a half rounds to go."
"Oh! You aren't serious!" Thomas complained.
"Thomas, do you or do you not want to be a Runner." Allie's tone took serious turn as she started at him.
"I do." Thomas said getting the change in her attitude.
"Then get up, drink some water and finish your rounds."
