"Okay, I realize you're still grieving the loss of your dignity and pride since Bangchan opened your embarrassing DM, but you have to at least try and continue on living."
"Says who?" I muffled through my pillow in response to Yukiko's judgemental voice.
"Says me," Yukiko replied as she delivered a considerably harsh slap on my butt and ripped my blankets away from me. "Get up, kiddo."
"I'm older than you," I protested as the usually-bubbly girl weakly attempted to haul me over her shoulders to lift me from my mattress.
"Then start acting like it," Yukiko responded sassily as I reluctantly stood to my feet, the younger woman releasing her grip on me once she realized I was stable- physically, not mentally.
"Rude, but fair."
Yukiko giggled at my response as she ushered me towards my bathroom down the hall from my room. "Go take a shower while I pick out an outfit for you. You can't possibly want to disappear from society if I treat you to that place with the ice cream on waffles," she informed me.
Halting in place, my eyes lit up as I glanced back at my friend. "You better be serious," I lightly threatened, only earning a smirk in response before I gave in and went to get myself freshened up.
