"How are you feeling?"

"Surprisingly amazing."

"Really?"

"No, I almost threw up when we parked."

Seungmin erupted in laughter with hints of disbelief at my slightly unfiltered sense of humor, though I was only half-kidding.

"Happy belated birthday, by the way, Seungmin," I nervously expressed to him once we fell in sync with our steps and he raised his head to meet my eyes, which made me anxiously glance away. "I want you to know I didn't forget, but I know this has been a hectic and last minute tour for you guys... And I know you really value your alone time and having things be kept private and personal– I'm rambling, but I just wanted you to know I admire you equally as the other members, and I didn't think you'd like anything flashy or big from someone you hadn't met personally despite me being a STAY..."

Seungmin laughed at me each time I stumbled over my words or spoke rapidly out of panic, but moreso I was warmly surprised by his gentle smile as he just nodded and listened for the remainder of my confession.

"Well, thank you so much, that means a lot coming from STAY, but evermoreso when it's personal like this, I think," Seungmin expressed in a bit of a mumbly tone that I had noticed is a habit of his just from being an observant STAY; I found it extremely endearing. "And you're right, actually, I had to get up early and do a few schedules on the morning of my birthday so it felt really nice to just go back to my hotel room and just relax by myself. The members know me well and they didn't shock me with anything too alarming and I appreciated that. So don't feel bad, yeah?" He ended off the little ramble by shooting me a little smirking and I laughed, nodding my head in obedience.

"Okay," I agreed, my heart swelling with warmth at the validation from the member of whom I cared for just as much as the others.

We continued exchanging a few curious 'get-to-know-you' type questions as we headed for the front entrance.

Because of how long the drive from Fukuoka to Tokyo was, we had left rather early in the day but still arrived at nearly nine in the evening. The road trip had come to an end and I would be meeting Chan soon, but every time I asked Hannah about the specifics of her plan, she simply smirked and wouldn't answer me. So naturally, this was paralyzingly horrific, especially from Hannah. According to her words, we were "just going out for a fun dinner in the resort" when I meet Chan; according to her facial expressions, I would think they all tried to arrange some kind of last-minute wedding ceremony for us where we pick props out of boxes for the photos.
