fun fact : i almost didnt use that small font for the chapter titles because of the way it weirdly capitalizes 'TA' in the middle for some reason but then it reminded me of that one live where the 'Y' balloon fell and seungmin went "sTAA"

My pulse quickened as I sat atop my bed cover, Bibi curled up in my lap and Koji sitting across from me. I had switched my LED lights on to the familiar shade of baby pink that I found so calming, my window shutters closed as the sun had set outside.
It was Monday now and I had the day off of work because it was the week of Halloween, and I informed Koji that I was ready to have him look inside the envelope for me.
There were several little moments between my calling him and his arrival that I almost backed out, fearing the worst of what could be inside the mysterious envelope my father had given me. There was a chance, however, that something clarifying or satisfying could come of whatever the contents were, and that was the only thing keeping me from panicking and setting the envelope on fire like a lunatic.
