Nothing felt real or normal anymore after every insane moment that had taken place this morning. Even hours after the fact, attempting to carry on with my every-day tasks was nearly impossible because I kept zoning out and replaying it all in my brain over and over again. I can promise you that most people who glanced at me while I was grocery shopping were highly concerned for my wellbeing.

It certainly wasn't helpful when the memories decided to turn into some kind of musical in my brain when I arrived home that night; and it was hitting me now that I was forever going to have to relive the most emotion-inducing moment of my life each time I pass through the front door's threshold where Chan had admitted he wanted me and kissed my face.

"I won't live much longer," I deduced to myself out loud as I dropped the single market bag over the kitchen counter and slumped over to rest my face into my forearms. And as if the universe had decided I wasn't being emotionally tortured in the best and worst way possible simultaneously, that was when my phone buzzed with a new notification.
