It was 1:00am by now, Akita was sitting on the bed humming softly and trying to keep her mind distracted so she wouldn't be consumed by her overwhelming thoughts. Her amber eyes started to fill with hot tears but Akita wouldn't allow herself to cry, she wouldn't show weakness.

She groaned quickly rubbing her tired eyes with her sleeve and yawning, Akita reluctantly laid down in her bed noticing something by her. She looked over to the side seeing her dagger next to her and gently picking it up. Tonight she thought, tonight I'm leaving this nightmare forever. There was no reason to stay after all, every happy memory she had here now just hurt.

Akita sat upright and threw her hat on the floor letting it break apart, she had to rid all of her memories from this place. She grabbed a  photo of her family from years ago and ripped it to pieces without hesitation, throwing the shredded pieces onto the floor to be forgotten about forever and then lastly Akita picked up her stuffed bear and stared at it.

Why did it hurt so much to get rid of this.. she picked up her dagger once again and stabbed it into the stuffed animal, immediately regretting it. "This is stupid!" She cried with frustration picking up the fallen out stuffing and pushing it back it she wanted to rid all her emotion but she failed. She failed again!

Why couldn't she just get rid of that stupid thing!? Akita groaned as she held her head in her hands, feeling exhausted but she wouldn't allow herself to sleep because she knew if she did she would have to face the truth and that scared her.

She stood up and hesitantly grabbed the stuffed animal, feeling embarrassed as she did so "God fine I'll take this stupid thing.." she groaned again clenching it tightly and making her way towards the window slowly since the doors were locked.

Once Akita had made it to the window she quickly pulled down the lever and slid it open before putting one leg onto the metal rim at the bottom and pulling herself up. As soon as she had gotten high enough Akita pulled her other leg over and let herself drop down to the snowy ground, landing on her feet and letting out a shocked exhale as the cold wind hit her skin.

Trying not to waste anytime Akita took a deep breath and started to walk towards the mountains ignoring the stinging in her tired eyes from the lack of sleep and the frosty wind blowing into them. She inhaled the crisp cold air feeling her throat go dry.

Once the girl had reached the mountains she placed her aching tired hand onto a rock that was sticking out, she gently heaved herself up and placed her right foot in one of the crooks. Carefully Akita made her way up the steep mountain onto a snowy ledge leading to the top of the mountain.

Akitas foot sank into the snow as she stepped into it, shivering she took another step and began wading through the deep snow. She wrapped her arms around herself trying to feel more warmth as she continued walking up the mountain in the darkness, however luckily for Akita being a wolf formling it made it easier for her to see in the night.

You're probably wondering why Akita didn't just transform into her wolf form, well the answer is she couldn't even if she wanted to. Changing your entire body requires a lot of energy and Akita just didn't have it in her anymore.

After 2 agonizing hours of walking at last she reached the travelers tree, she grabbed a couple berries and some of the flowers 'this should be enough' she thought to herself. Akita sighed looking down from the mountain, now she'd have to go all the way back down to make the tea.

Akita groaned as she began her descent down the snowy mountain, but she knew this would all be worth it as long as she got to leave this place that caused her so much pain.

Once she got down to the bottom it was already 6:00am, Akita began running towards the village as fast as her tired legs would take her.
She knew that the nurse and David would be checking on her anytime soon and she didn't want to deal with them dragging her back to the medical room.

It was stupid anyway, 'Im fine' Akita thought 'I don't need to go to some dumb medical room, I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself! I've done it many times before anyway.' she crossed her arms thinking about how unfair it was for them to try and keep her locked up

After a few short minutes Akita stood in-front of her hut, taking a deep breath she opened the door half expecting Kataru to jump out and say 'SURPRISE!' but deep down she knew that he was never coming back, 'he's dead' she thought 'just accept it already.." Akita looked down at the floor disappointed but she didn't forget what she was here for.

Akita began packing up her things, some clothes, of course her dagger, neverrealm money though she wasn't sure if they used that currency I ninblago or whatever it was called, a book and a picture of her and Kataru she smiled looking at it, tears threatened to spill at the corner of her eyes.

She shook her head and put the picture in the bag, Akita then pulled out an old metal pot and lit a fire in the fire place. She poured a bit of water into it and dropped in the berries and flowers she had gotten from the travelers tree.

The young girl let it sit for a while before picking up the pot, Akita took a deep breath to calm her nerves. Grabbing her bag Akita then poured out the tea onto the floor taking one last look around her old home knowing she would never see it again. Finally she went through the portal.
