I woke in a haze. I could smell her again in the chair, and the smell of food. I slowly got up, and grabbed the plate next to me, before I start gnawing down on the meat.

Its heavenly!

I thought, as I enjoyed the delicacy on my plate.

"It's good right? Our cattle is very high quality, I personally take care of all of them myself" She started speaking to me.

"What makes you so trusting of the food on that plate? You've gladly eaten from it twice already. You dont believe I'd poison you?" she asked, pointing to my stomach with her thin finger.

"You misunderstand" I reply.

"I am not a fool, and I am not without caution. If you poisoned it, i would smell it." I tell her, pointing to my nose.

"And yet, a fool wouldn't have wandered into our forest, your a foolish dog with a strong nose" she chuckled. As she laughed I could barley see her teeth. They were white, pearly, with a pair of two upper teeth that were much sharper and longer than mine.

What are you?

I thought as I stared at her in silence. The dungeon was still dark, despite my adjusted eye's it was quite hard to see. I was straining them. I had been relaxed while eating the food, however after i finished I remembered to lock in. I was the trapped one here.

"Let me get you some light, it's easier to know someone when you can see them" It seem she could sense when I put my walls up. She got up out of the chair, and walked off, returning with a bright lantern that filled the dungeon. As light illuminated the place, I could see where I was more clearly. I hadn't noticed the dry bloodstains all over my cage. There were claw marks, no doubt left by other wolves in here. A chill went up my spine the more I inspected.

She hung the lantern then took her seat once again, legs crossed and staring at me. I had a better look at her now. Her frame was slim, her skin was ghostly white and pale. She was still in the same long red dress, however I could now see the dress wasn't fully red. But black that faded into red. She was covered in what looked like expensive looking silver jewelry, rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings. She looked like undead royalty.

"Admiring are we?" She said, I was staring in silence for too long. Knowing the wrong response could be my last I keep my mouth shut until she starts chatting again.

"It's fine to admire, I am a beauty. I caught myself admiring you aswell in your sleep. For a dog of your kind your prettier than most", I turned away embarrassed. I was never good with compliments.

"Your quiet again, and here I was, thinking we could have a real conversation" She started to get up. My heart raced.

"Conversations about what? Theres only so much i'm willing to conversate about while i'm shackled and behind bars" I reply, in a bit of a panic.
I dont know what will happen if she leaves. I'd rather not find out so it's better to keep her here chatting

She miraculously sits back down.

"Quick with your words when your scared, I could hear your blood pump as I got up"

"Don't worry if I wanted you dead, you wouldn't have ended up in this cage talking to me" she said smiling trying to seemingly relieve the tension

"Then what do you want?" I asked

"You ask smart questions, I like you" she giggled, but then her face turns cold.

"Let me cut straight to the point... what I need from you is your blood" she looked me dead in the eye.
