Darain's Pov :
As the evening descended,
Darain found himself having lunch alone, a realization that solitude didn't sit well with him.
He admitted to Martha, "I have to agree; her presence is better than having lunch alone. And her cooking... it surpasses the chefs."
Unable to focus on work, he decided to watch TV,
attempting to distract his mind from the thoughts that kept gravitating towards Seraphine.
Martha, sensing the change in Darain, approached him at 10 in the evening, "Dinner is ready."
Darain, concerned about Seraphine, instructed, "Pack the dinner; I'll take it, also ask the driver to get the car ready ."
Observing Darain's shift, Martha felt a subtle joy, understanding that Seraphine was making her way into his heart, becoming a catalyst for healing and happiness.
Carrying the packed dinner, Darain headed to the office.
The sight that awaited him, Seraphine laughing with someone, fueled his unease.
Making his presence known, he left Seraphine puzzled.
"Why are you here?" she asked.
Darain, in a stern tone, responded, "I came with dinner. Who's he?"
" Luca Thompson sera's friend ."
introducing himself, extended his hand. Darain, with a firm grip, made his stance clear
" Oh i didn't know let me freshnup."
As Seraphine left to freshen up, Darain took the opportunity to forewarn Luca.
Darain, with a sly grin, warned Luca, "You might want to recalibrate your GPS. The 'Stay Away from Sera' zone is strictly enforced. Stray, and let's just say, finding you might become an episode of 'Where's Luca?'"
( in simplier words : "Consider this your GPS alert – steer clear of Sera, or you might just find yourself in an episode of 'Where's Luca?'")
Seraphine returned.
Sera, oblivious to the tension, invited Luca to dinner.
He declined abruptly, bidding a hasty goodbye,
Before leaving, Luca kissed Seraphine's cheek, surprising both Darain and Seraphine.
Stoking a sense of jealousy in Darain, hidden behind a composed exterior.
