Third person pov :
The atmosphere grew tense as Alex entered, demanding their attention.
Darian guarded as to who is this person in there home "Who are you, and why are you here?"
Alex calmly "I need to speak with both of you. It's a matter of utmost importance."
Darian: (angry) Whatever it is, it can't be that important. Leave.
Alex assertively replies "You need to hear me out. This concerns both of you."
Alex urgently says as he enters "Darain, Seera, I've come to warn you. Your lives are in danger."
Darian sarcasticly replies "Danger? What are you talking about?"
Alex seriously "There are forces at play, forces beyond your comprehension."
Sera curiously asks "Forces? Can you be more specific?l
Alex hesitated, carefully choosing his words.
Alex guarded careful not to reveal any necassay info "There are people who know about your past, Darain. They're seeking revenge."
Darian defensively says "My past is my business. No one else's."
Sera softly says "Darain, maybe we should hear him out."
Darian reluctantly nodded, allowing Alex to continue.
Alex ominous "This revenge goes deep, involving secrets you thought were buried."
Darian angrily replies "I've dealt with enough revenge in my life. I don't need your warnings."
Sera calmly "Darain, maybe he's trying to help."
Darian's silence echoed, revealing the deep wounds still unhealed.
Alex stood up abruptly, his gaze lingering on Sera and Darian. Darian, puzzled, questioned, "Where are you going?"
Alex hesitated, "I can't tell you. Don't try to find me. I just wanted to help you and let you know that I wanted to see how you've grown up. I'm happy to see that you're alive and well. Thank you for listening." With that, he made a swift exit, leaving an air of mystery behind him.
The unexpected visitor's intrusion lingered in Darian's mind as he rejoined Seera in their living room.
Her eyes, sharp and perceptive, caught the lingering worry on his face.
"Who was that man, Darian?" Sera inquired, her voice gentle but insistent. "And why does it seem like you're hiding something from me?"
Darian hesitated for a moment, grappling with the weight of his secrets.
"Sera, there's nothing you need to worry about. It's just an unexpected acquaintance, and I'll handle it. You're safe with me."
Sera studied his expression, searching for reassurance.
Though she felt a faint unease, she decided to trust Darian's words.
Perhaps the recent challenges had heightened her senses, and she dismissed her suspicions as mere products of an anxious mind.
Yet, unknown to Sera, beneath the surface of their seemingly calm lives, a storm brewed – a storm that threatened to unveil the shadows Darian had desperately concealed.
Darian, feeling the weight of the recent encounter with Alex, decided to reach out to Jacob, his reliable confidant and CFO. He pulled out his phone and dialed Jacob's number.
"Jacob, we have an unexpected visitor named Alex," Darian began, his tone conveying a sense of urgency.
"I need you to dig into his background. Find out who he is, where he comes from, and if there's any reason for concern."
On the other end of the line, Jacob acknowledged the seriousness in Darian's voice.
"Consider it done, boss. I'll get back to you as soon as I have something concrete."
As the call ended, Darian couldn't help but wonder about the mysterious Alex and the potential threats he might pose.
The unknown variables in his life seemed to multiply, casting shadows on the fragile equilibrium they had built.
Darian looked at Sera and said, "I'll be in my office. If you need anything, come see me there."
