LEONARDO ROMANO'S POV:
I sat in my home office, drowning in work, yet my thoughts constantly drifted to her my Star, my Sunshine. She was the light in my otherwise dark life, but the day she left, that light dimmed, leaving me in shadows.
While reviewing some files, my phone rang. It was Matteo.
Matteo (M): "Dad, where are you?"
Leonardo (L): "In my office. What's the matter?"
M: "I have something important to share. Can we all gather in your office?"
L: "Of course."
M: "See you in 30 minutes."
I sent a message to our family group chat: "Meeting in my office in 30 minutes."
---
30 Minutes Later
My sons entered the office one by one Andreano, Elio, Luca, and Aurelio.
Leonardo (L): "So, Matt, what's so important?"
Andreano (A): "It better be important. I postponed an important meeting for this."
Elio (El): "Same here. I left work."
Luca (Lu): "I had to rush out of the hospital, leaving everything to my assistant."
Aurelio (Aure): "And I left my class."
Matteo stood up; his expression serious.
Matteo (M): "I called you all here to tell you something very important."
L: "Stop building suspense, Matt."
M: "I found her."
Everyone froze, their expressions a mix of shock and disbelief.
All Together: "Who?"
M: "Ex-Mrs. Leonardo Romano." His voice was cold. My heart raced.
L: "Where is she?"
M: "She's in Greece." I clenched my fists.
Aure: "How did you find her?"
M: "It wasn't easy. I searched for our princess all over the world, filtering through thousands of Isabella profiles by age, birthdate, and parent names. Finally, I found her. She had changed her father's name and adopted a different surname. But she forgot to change her signature. I cross-referenced it with her college records."
L: "Good job, son."
A: "We should leave immediately, Dad. I can't wait to see my Bear."
All Together: "Yes, let's leave now!"
I raised my hand to silence them.
L: "No, not all of us will go. Andreano, Aurelio, and I will go only and bring her back."
Andreano smirked, and Aurelio's face lit up with happiness. The others groaned in disappointment.
A: "I'll arrange the jet. We're leaving in two hours."
L: "Good."

In Greece
After a long 19-hour journey, we landed in Volos, Greece, and checked into a hotel. An hour later, we arrived at Francesca's workplace. The receptionist called her, but to my surprise, Dario came down first. As Francesca appeared, she froze upon seeing me. I smirk seeing her reaction, my sons refuse to let her touch them even. When Dario hugged her, I clenched my fists, resisting the urge to tear him apart.
He suggested we talk at their home, and I reluctantly agreed. At their house, we discussed about Isabella. A girl entered the room wearing simple clothes. Though I hadn't seen her in years, I knew it was my Bella. She greeted us and quickly left.
As we finalized the arrangements, Francesca's indifference stunned me.
Francesca (F): "You're here to take Isabella. That's fine with me. I already have to care for my two daughters."
Her cold words confirmed what I feared she didn't love my Bella.
L: "We'll take her tomorrow morning, till then spend your time with her for the last time."
My sons weren't happy to wait, but I convinced them it was better to ease Bella into this change.

Romano Mansion
While we were gone, Luca texted the family group: "How about we prepare a beautiful room for our Tesoruccia?"
Everyone responded with a thumbs-up, and together, they started preparing her room with care and love.

THIRD PERSON POV:
Departure Day
When Bella came downstairs with her trolley bag, she waved goodbye to everyone, even secretly bidding farewell to the maid. Bianca approached her and whispered.
"Don't be so happy. They'll soon realize you are bad luck and throw you out."
Tears welled up in Isabella's eyes, but she walked out with her head high.
At the car, Leonardo opened the door and smiled gently.
L: "Sit, Isabella dear."
LEONARDO POV:
She climbed in, followed by my sons and me. We took her to our hotel, where we'd stay another night due to some unexpected issues. We couldn't leave her with Francesca anymore.
At the hotel suite, we ensured Bella had her own room and asked if she needed anything. She politely declined. We agreed to meet for breakfast in 30 minutes.
---
ISABELLA'S POV:
The room they gave me was beyond luxurious. I didn't know if I deserved such comfort, but I appreciated it. When they invited me to breakfast, I didn't want to disobey plus, I was hungry. So, I agreed.
---
THIRD-PERSON POV:
At breakfast, Isabella hesitated to sit until Leonardo spoke gently.
L: "Why aren't you sitting, my dear?"
Heat rose to her cheeks in embarrassment, she quickly sat beside Aurelio. When the waiter arrived, Aurelio asked,
Aure: "What would you like to eat, dear?"
Isabella's answer stunned everyone.
I: "I'll eat whatever you give me."
Her words brought the table to a standstill as they stared at her in shock.
