THIRD PERSON POV:
El shouted, "BELLA!" His voice echoed through the house.
The cup in Isabella's hand slipped, shattering on the ground. The two maids nearby froze in shock, their eyes wide as they bowed their heads. Andre, on his way to his room after a workout, sprinted toward the source of the commotion. Luc, fresh from his shooting practice, followed close behind.
Isabella stood still, her mind racing. Tears welled up in her eyes, blurring her vision. She had no idea why El was shouting.
Moments later, El stormed into the kitchen, carefully pulling Isabella into his arms. "Bella." He whispered, guiding her out of the kitchen. Andre and Luc arrived just in time to see them heading toward the hall and followed silently.
El sat Isabella on the sofa and took a seat beside her.
"Luc, check her. I'm worried!" El's voice was trembling.
Luc frowned. "What happened? Why do I need to check her? Is she hurt?" He turned to Isabella. "Bella, baby, are you okay?" His barrage of questions made everyone tense.
Andre knelt beside her, wrapping her in a gentle hug. "No, baby, don't cry. See? We're all here for you." His soothing words only made Isabella cry harder, clinging to him.
One by one, the rest of the family came downstairs, alarmed by the commotion. Leonardo's cold voice cut through the air: "What happened, Andre? Why is my daughter crying?"
Andre responded softly, "I don't know. I'm trying to console her. Please don't raise your voice; it might scare her."
Leonardo's stern expression softened, and he nodded in understanding.
El's voice broke through the silence. "Luc, why are you waiting? Check her now. I don't want her to feel any kind of pain. I can't lose her, not again." His words sent a ripple of shock through the room.
Luc knelt beside Isabella. "What do I need to check? Just tell me! Nothing will happen to my Tesoruccia. I won't let anything harm her."
El ran a hand through his hair, his frustration evident. "There was a baby snake in the kitchen, right near where she was sitting. I don't know if it bites her. Just check her arms. I don't care what it takes, I can't let anything happen to her."
Gasps filled the room. Everyone's worry deepened, but Isabella, for the first time in her life, felt something unfamiliar Love. She blinked through her tears, a small, grateful smile breaking through as Luc carefully examined her.
"She's fine." Luc finally said, and a collective sigh of relief swept through the room.
El hugged her tightly, his relief palpable. Isabella rested her head against his chest, surprising everyone with the sudden gesture of trust. El froze for a moment, stunned but overjoyed.
"I... I love you, Brother El." She whispered softly. Her words sent El soaring to cloud nine.
The family exchanged warm smiles, happiness radiating in the room as they saw Isabella slowly opening her heart to them.
