THIRD PERSON POV:

"For giving me a sister, and yeah, I'll be leaving tomorrow morning, so goodbye." Saying this, Advay left for his room while Aurelio and Ethan kept Isandro busy, introducing him to their friends.

A FEW HOURS LATER

The party came to an end, and everyone had left except the Russo family. They were seated in the hall, except Vincenzo, who was nowhere to be seen.

"Where's Vince?" Liam asked, noticing his absence.

"Must be in Isabella's room." Matteo replied, his tone laced with disgust.

"No, he's not with her. He left to bring something." Martina, Vince's elder sister, spat angrily.

"Don't talk to me like that, Martina." Matteo said harshly.

"What will you do, huh? Forget about me too, like you forgot about your own sister?" She snapped back, her voice seething with anger.

"Martina, enough." Salvatore said sternly to his daughter.

"Why, Dad? Why should I stay silent when these boys don't treat her well? It would have been better if uncle Leo hadn't called her here. At least she could've been happy on her birthday." She said, emphasizing the last two words with frustration.

Her words caught everyone's attention, but what they saw next shocked them. Vincenzo appeared from the kitchen holding a cake in his hands. He placed it on the table and looked at Martina.

"Is everything ready, sister?" He asked in a stern tone.

"Yes. The dress is ready, the car is waiting, and her friend-turned-brother has handed me her important belongings. Everything is set. You can take her with you now, but let her celebrate this last birthday with these people first." Martina said, her tone sending shivers down Matteo's spine.

"Where are you taking my daughter? And with whose permission?" Leonardo asked, his voice laced with shock and anger.

"To her home, where her family will never forget about her or her existence. Where we'll love her beyond anything in this world. Where she won't have to cry herself to sleep. Where her nightmares won't haunt her." Vincenzo said, his tone is steely and unyielding something they had never heard from him before.

"Vince..." A faint voice called out.

He turned to see Isabella standing at the top of the stairs. The memory of her last birthday flashed through his mind. He quickly rushed to her and embraced her tightly.

"Please don't stand here. What will I do if you fall again? You know you're so clumsy." He said softly, she chuckled with tears in her eyes.

"I never knew you cared for me this much." She said, wiping away her tears.

"But you still don't know how much I love you, Ishu." He replied, kissing her tear-stained eyes.

"Please drop me off at the airport. I'm leaving. Abhimaan's jet is here to take me back to India." She said, dropping a bombshell on him and everyone else.

"But..." He started, clenching his jaw.

"He's like a brother to me, so don't even think about going after him." She said, looking into his eyes. Advay chuckled at her choice of words.

"At least cut the cake before you go." Vincenzo said gently, to which she chuckled.

"No one remembers my birthday Vince, so there's no cake for me to cut. But when you come to India, we'll celebrate that day as my birthday. We'll cut the cake then. What do you say, Advay bhai?" She asked politely.
