ISABELLA'S POV:

I see Vince sitting on the bed with a pair of clothes in his hand.

"I'll freshen up. In the meantime, you go and change in the closet." He says before heading to the washroom.

I walk into the closet and change into a pair of capris and a top. After that, I settled on the swing in my balcony. Soon, Vince joins me. We lie down together; his presence and constant comfort make me feel at ease. I still haven't said yes to his proposal, but he remains unwavering.

'I know one day you'll say yes,' He often says. 'And on that day, I'll ask your father to marry you off to me as soon as possible. I can't risk, your mind changes so fast, no one can say anything about it.'

Resting my head on his chest, I feel his arm wrap securely around me as he gently massages my scalp. After a while, he asks softly, "Baby, are you hungry?"

Looking up at him, I nod.

"Let's go. I'll prepare something for you." He says, lifting me effortlessly in his arms.

I didn't argue, as my feet are paining lightly and I am not in the mood to walk anyways. As we enter the living room, all eyes turn toward us. Reactions are mixed. My eldest brothers glare daggers at Vince, joined by Dad and my uncles. Nonno, Nonna, and my aunts wear soft smiles, while the Russo family grins broadly. My other brothers look indifferent, except for Inzoo and Isandro, who seem ready to strangle Vince.

Turning to glance at him, I see him smirking at my triplets. I slap his chest lightly, making him look at me. He responds with a small smile.

"Don't tease my triplets. They'll murder you, don't you remember how they punish that bitchy Michael and his duffer army." I warn, but then I catch myself. My mouth snaps shut as I realize what I just said.

From the corner of my eye, I notice Isandro smiling, which only flusters me further. I bury my face in Vince's chest and mumble, "Take me with you. I'm hungry."

The Russo family bursts into laughter at my remark.

"You sit here. I'll whip up something for you quickly. But first, tell me what you want to eat, Моя жизнь." Vince says, gazing down at me, I smile at his endearment, it still makes me flustered like first time when he called me with this endearment.

Translation: My life.

"No. I want to come to the kitchen too. It's been so long since I cooked something." I replied, instantly regretting my words.

Vince isn't the only one glaring at me now. My eldest brothers, including the triplets, are all giving me their signature protective stares. Vince places me between Dad and Uncle Salv before walking off with one last glare.

"Dare step into the kitchen, and I'll lock you in your room, Ishuu." Advay Bhai warns, his tone stern. Angie, sitting beside him, rubs his arm to calm him down.

I sit quietly, understanding their over-protectiveness. Leaning my head on Dad's shoulder, I try to relax, but something feels off. Uncle Salv notices instantly. Without a word, he lifts my feet onto his lap and begins massaging them, while Dad shifts my head onto his lap and massages my scalp.

Their care soothes me, and soon I drift off to sleep, finding solace in their presence.

---

I woke up to someone calling my name softly. Opening my eyes, I saw Vince looking at me with a small smile.

"Let's go. First, you'll freshen up, and then I'll feed you. Okay?" He said gently. I nodded in response.

I noticed the strange way everyone was looking at me, but I chose to ignore it. A dull ache throbbed in my head, and before I could process much, Vince picked me up. Inzoo followed behind, bringing food to my room.
