ANDREANO'S POV:

I walked toward the large tree in the garden; it's Bella's favorite spot because of its size and shade. What I saw stopped me in my tracks. There she was, my little sister, engrossed in a book, oblivious to the world around her. She didn't even notice us approaching.

"Bella, my bear." I called out softly.

She looked up from her book, her eyes lighting up.

I: "Yes, Ande?"

THIRD-PERSON POV:

Everyone watched her, relieved to see her smile. They all went inside, settling at the dining table for breakfast. Isabella joined them, taking her usual seat. During breakfast, the family apologized to her for not bringing her to Milan after her exams, each explaining their reasons. Bella, being the kind-hearted soul she is, forgave them easily.

After breakfast, everyone dispersed for their respective tasks. Luca and Isabella went to the shooting range for practice. Two hours later they left, and Isabella visited the library with Elio. The two of them spent quality time together before Aure joined her. Together, they played guitar and sang a little. Lunch was a cheerful affair, filled with lighthearted chatter between the four of them.

Though she appeared happy during the day, Isabella hid her pain from them. Nightmares and flashbacks haunted her, keeping her awake in the middle of the night. The memories of her mother and her family tormented her, but she chose not to share this with anyone. She didn't want to burden her family with her pain.

ISABELLA'S POV:

It's been a month since I returned to Milan, and my bond with my family has grown stronger. I spend my days with my father and brothers. They rarely leave me alone, but when they do, I understand and don't complain. Over the past month, I've learned so much.

-Andre taught me self-defense.

-Elio introduced me to financial concepts and recommended books like Rich Dad Poor Dad and The Psychology of Money.

-Luca trained me in shooting, teaching me to handle different types of guns and rifles.

-Matt taught me management techniques, and I even helped him create a budget for an event, earning his praise.

-Aure taught me guitar tunes and two different playing styles.

-Sam showed me how to stay observant and taught me additional self-defense moves.

I'm genuinely happy here, but the nightmares and flashbacks continue to trouble me. I keep it to myself, not wanting to stress my family. Suddenly, my phone pinged, snapping me out of my thoughts.

The notification read: Your result will be announced in 3 days.

Excited, I wanted to share the news, but no one was home. So, I sent a message in the family group chat.

THE ROMANO CHAOS

I: "Hello, my dear family! I have a surprise for you all, so come home soon."

A: "Yes, Bear. I'll be home by 9 PM."
D: "Yes, my princess, I'll come home soon."
El: "Yes, Bella, I'll be there before dinner."
L: "I just have one surgery left. I'll be home in 3 hours, my Tesoruccia."
Matt: "Yes, la mia Perla, I'll try to come home early. Don't share the news until I get there, okay?"

I: "Okay, Matt. I'll wait for everyone."

Aure: "Angioletto, I'll be there in an hour."

After texting, I went downstairs and asked the helpers to start preparing something special. When Aure arrived, he worked out in the gym while I prepared dinner with the helpers. Luca joined later and helped with cooking. By the time Dad and Andre arrived, dinner was ready. Matt joined us shortly after.

We sat down to eat, and everyone kept asking me about the surprise, but I told them they'd have to wait until after dinner.

THIRD-PERSON POV:

After dinner, everyone settled in the hall, their eyes fixed on Isabella.

I: "Dad, my result will be released in 3 days." She said confidently, no longer shy or nervous, thanks to their love and support.

Matt: "That's great news! Double celebration time!"

Aure: "Double celebration? How?"

Matt: "The day Bella's result comes out is two days before my birthday! We'll celebrate both together."

D: "That's wonderful news!"

The family was thrilled, and after some light-hearted chatter, they went to their rooms.

The Day of Her Results

The entire family gathered in the hall, anxious yet supportive. Isabella had been stressed about her results, which had made her ill for the past few days. Leonardo stayed by her side, while the others took turns looking after her. Now, as she started feeling better, Matt opened the results portal on his laptop. Isabella closed her eyes, too nervous to look.

Matt: "La mia Perla!"
Aure: "Angioletto!"

Their excited voices made her slowly open her eyes. She looked at the screen, and her heart skipped a beat in shock.
