THIRD PERSON POV:
Aure stood in front of Isabella's room, his heart sinking. There were no guards outside her door not even her personal guard, Sam. Knocking gently at first, he waited, but there was no response. Fear of losing her began to creep into his mind. He knocked again, louder this time, but the silence persisted. Desperation clawed at him as he pushed against the door, only to find it locked from the inside. Determined, he kicked the door forcefully. On the third attempt, the lock gave way, and the door swung open. To his relief, he saw Isabella asleep on her bed. Aure sighed deeply, releasing the breath he hadn't realized he was holding.
Aure: "Angioletto, wake up. It's 9 in the morning." She stirred slightly at the sound of his voice but didn't wake up.
Aure: "Baby, if you don't wake up now, you'll be late for college." His gentle coaxing finally roused her. She opened her eyes and, upon seeing Aure, immediately hugged him tightly.
Isabella: "Where were you? I was so worried! Please don't leave me alone again, Aure. Promise me you'll never do that again."
Aure: "I'm sorry, baby. I won't go anywhere. Please don't cry."
Isabella: "Promise me!"
Aure: "I promise, Angioletto. Now, go get ready."
Isabella: "Okay, Aure. See you at the breakfast table."
Aure: "Okay, but come quickly."
He hadn't intended to join the Conti's for breakfast, but for Isabella, he agreed.
Thirty Minutes Later
Aure sat in the hall, waiting for Isabella. TheConti family was already gathered at the dining table, and the maids werearranging the food. Isabella arrived, looking radiant in her new outfit. Shehesitated slightly but walked over to Aure, who took her hand and led her tothe breakfast table. Aure pulled out a chair for her, ensuring she wascomfortable before sitting beside her.

Bianca's jealousy flared. She couldn't stand the sight of Isabella in new clothes. Francesca always gave Isabella hand-her-downs, so where had she gotten brand-new attire? As Aure scanned the table, his expression darkened. He didn't see anything Isabella particularly liked.
Aure: "Mrs. Conti, did you not prepare any of Angioletto favorite dishes?" Francesca nearly choked on her food, visibly flustered.
Francesca: "Isabella loves this food. That's why I have prepared it."
