The blue sky and the beautiful green woods did not deceive me about the evil that awaited on the other side of the portal.

Everything had led to that moment.

Every experience had led me to the battlefield against my enemies.

A war, that's what I wanted to avoid.

It had not been possible, I had tried my best not to be here right now. But the Gods and their fate had brought me to the place where everything would change forever.

With just one step forward, I knew that what awaited me would strike without precedent.

But I would strike harder.

'For the Kingdoms! For the Gods!' I shouted and raised my sword, Lightning beginning his trot without hesitation.

The war cries of my troops felt like a wave of power that pushed me even further forward.

All these people, every one of them, fairies, mermaids and mermen, women, men, fire benders, even dragons, would follow me to the ends of the earth. They too believed that this could be the end.

The trot grew louder and louder. The earth was rising from the force of my horse's feet and some dirt went straight to my cheeks.

Caelus was by my side, maybe I couldn't see him but I felt him. His energy was with me and I felt protected. No one would ever separate us again.

And there, closer and closer, clearer and clearer, the castle that had witnessed my story from the beginning. The castle where my story began, would now perhaps see its end.

Jonah is in the tower.

I knew it from my dreams, I felt it from the darkness we shared. He was watching me from above, perhaps enjoying how we all participated in his twisted war plan.

Nothing seemed to happen on the other side, the field totally empty, but we kept moving forward even though I felt the worst was yet to come.

Our strength now came from above.

I looked up and there they were.

The two huge dragons cast a shadow over us and at last I saw that my dream was a reality.

We were getting nearer to the castle with every single step.

A very deluded part of me thought that maybe it would be easy to get there. Maybe they had changed their minds.

How naive.

I didn't see them, I heard them.

Their footsteps loud against the earth. Or rather, their claws.

Hundreds and hundreds of beasts running at full pace straight towards us. Unrestrained, boundless, spitting rage from their mouths, their eyes lost in the darkness, their howls piercing and chilling.
