I pulled up onto Leah's drive, taking a deep breath. The nerves slowly taking over my body, being made especially obvious by the slight tremor in my hands. I got out the car, got my bag from the boot and made my way inside.
As I turned to face the front door, there she was. In all her beauty, her blonde hair hanging over her shoulders with a loving smile on her face. 'Hi gorgeous' I whispered against her lips giving her a kiss. 'I could get used to this you know, ready and waiting to greet you when you come home'.
I followed Leah into the house, closing the door behind me and removing my trainers. 'It was lovely to see your mum today! I think she's happy we've found one another.' I confessed.
I smiled at Leah, a mix of excitement and trepidation in my eyes. "I have something to tell you, It's something important."
Leah nodded, settling on the living room couch, holding my hand, a palpable tension in the air. I fidgeted with her fingers before finally mustering the courage to speak.
"I've been doing a lot of thinking, Leah," I began, my gaze focused but vulnerable. "And I need you to know that you mean a lot to me. More than I expected."
Leah's expression shifted from curiosity to a mix of anticipation and realization. "What do you mean, B?"
I took another deep breath. "Leah, I've come to realise that my feelings for you have grown beyond friendship. I care about you in a way that goes beyond anything I've felt before. I... I think I'm falling in love with you."
Silence hung in the room as Leah processed my words. The air seemed charged with emotion, and I anxiously waited for Leah's response.
Leah's eyes softened, and a warm smile spread across her face. "Bella, I've been feeling the same way. I wanted to tell you tonight, I'm falling for you too."
Relief washed over me, and a shared understanding passed between us. The vulnerability of confessing our feelings had forged a deeper connection. We reached for each other's hands, a silent acknowledgment of the journey we were embarking on together.
"I'm glad we can be honest with each other, Leah," I admitted, my voice filled with sincerity.
Leah leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss on my lips. "Me too, Bels. Let's see where this journey takes us."
We embraced one another, the weight of unspoken words lifted, making way for a new chapter in our lives, filled with the promise of love and happy moments.
'Take away my love?' Leah asked whilst flicking through Netflix. 'Absolutely!' I responded. We both decided on getting a pizza, it arrived shortly after 6.30pm.
'Do you mind if I take a shower quickly?' I asked Leah. 'Course not babe, you know where everything is.' Little did Leah know the surprise I had in store for her. I quickly showered, got the bedroom ready and called her upstairs. As Leah entered the bedroom, her eyes grew wide and a huge smile crossed on her face. 'Wow!' She breathed out.
Leah's POV
'Babe, can you come here a sec!' Bella called from the top of stairs. 'Coming, hold on B!' I called back. I turned the telly off and checked the house was locked before heading upstairs.
I opened the bedroom door and was immediately faced with soft lighting, as my eyes scanned the room that's when I saw her. My jaw dropped and there she was, stood there in a pink lingerie set that I couldn't wait to tear off her. 'Wow!' I gasped in disbelief. I made my way over to her kissing her passionately. 'Just incase words aren't enough, I want to show you how I feel about you' she growled at me, her voice was low and extremely sexy.
