Leah's POV

The days that followed our argument, Bella wasn't herself. She was insecure, apologetic and quiet. Bella continued her quest for my forgiveness.

The first thing I noticed when I got home from my morning training session was the sweet aroma of freshly baked cookies— the scent wafting through every corner like an offering of peace. A note accompanied the treats, expressing Bella's heartfelt apologies and the promise to communicate better in the future.
'Bels!' I called but there was no response. I searched the house but she wasn't there. Grabbing a cookie, I decided to text her telling her I was home - I also sent a naughty picture of my naked body about to get in the shower.

A few days later, Bella's next gesture unfolded in the form of a carefully planned date night

A few days later, Bella's next gesture unfolded in the form of a carefully planned date night. She transformed her living room into a cozy haven with fairy lights and soft music. A carefully selected playlist filled the space with songs that held special meaning for both of us. As I walked in, Luke Combs playing softly in the background, I found Bella, adorned with a sincere smile, ready to share a loving evening together.

The weeks that followed our argument Bella was pulling out all the stops for me. She was all over me (not that I'm complaining) our sex life was incredible- I've never experienced anything like it.

Days turned into weeks, and Bella continued her quest for forgiveness. She surprised me with a weekend getaway to a scenic retreat, a place where the serenity of nature mirrored the peace Bella hoped to restore in our relationship. On our way back from our short break away, Bella admitted she had one more surprise for me.

Bella's POV

The grand finale of my apology tour unfolded as I orchestrated a surprise gathering of our closest friends. On our way back from our weekend break, I told Leah I would drop her off at hers and that she needed to be back to my house for 5pm.

A warm and inviting atmosphere filled my home, complimented with decorations symbolising love and unity. I took the opportunity to thank Leah for her unwavering support and pledging to be more mindful of our shared journey.

Leah POV

I was touched by Bella's efforts,  and I finally felt the walls of tension crumble. I saw not only Bella's remorse but also her genuine desire to rebuild and strengthen our connection. In a quiet moment, away from the grand gestures and public displays, I smothered Bella with kisses and cuddles, whispering words of forgiveness and reassurance. 'You know Bels, you didn't have to do all of this over a silly little argument!' 'I know, but the way I acted - that's not me. I don't want that to be me. If you spoke to me that way, I'd have been so hurt by that. I didn't like the person I turned into in that moment - this is the person I am Leah, the person who is here to protect your heart, not hurt it.'

Her eyes were glazed over with emotion, I knew in that moment that Bella was it for me. I pressed a loving kiss on her forehead and whispered 'it's all been forgiven and forgotten.'
