'what the fuck?' i hear as i pull away from oakley, his hands leaving my waist as we both turn to the source of the noise.

'fuck' i mutter as i see mason stood at my door, gathering the attention of all my other brothers.

'are you actually surprised?' i hear aiden ask as i slightly chuckle.

'how long?' mason asks as i groan, moving to sit on my bed as oakley stands, looking frustrated that our make out session was cut short.

'not long just like...3 months?' i reply as i hear zack and aiden laugh while mason and leo just look mad.

'come on, he's better than doug. we grew up with him for god's sake.' zack defends as i make a mental note to thank my twin later.

'you know what. i'll talk to you both separately about it later. right now, oakley your mum's asking for you to come home.' leo speaks seriously and i watch as oakley nods slowly, planting a kiss on my temple before walking out. i watch as mason follows, seeing leo stay.

'all of you out so i can speak to thalia alone.' i hear leo say which makes me want to run and hide. he shuts the door behind him as he sits on my bed and i sit on my desk chair.

'how did it even happen?' he asks as i shrug, not looking at him.

'i'm not dad. and i never will be. i don't want you to see me like one so just-' he pauses and shrugs. 'talk to me like we're friends.'

i chuckle. 'i dont have anything to say.' i murmur. 'we just kissed in the kitchen once and then we started kissing more in private and hanging out in private, he gets me flowers a lot and i dont know.' i ramble as he listens to me. i look up at him as he has a small smile on his face.

'at least he's not doug.' he speaks as we laugh.

'yeah.' i agree.

'listen, i dont care if you date oakley, just be careful. he's like mason, and you know how mason is.' he says and i nod slowly.

'mason will grow out of it right? it's just a phase?' i ask as leo sighs with a shrug.

'i don't know. depends if he's willing to sober up more often.' he speaks as i nod. mason's more often high than not, and if he's not high then he's drunk. but honestly, i think he's been getting better, but it might just be a cover up in front of me.

'anyway. you and oakley can date, i dont mind. and i doubt mason will either, he's just being dramatic.' he speaks as i chuckle.
