CHAPTER XXIII : Find You

A month has passed since the attack and they still couldn't find Areum. All of Song Shadows went into hiding and they were no where to be seen or heard.

Haechan? He's miserable. Everyday he works hard to find Areum, but at night? He spends his nights at the bar, drinking. That's basically his routine everyday since he declared war with the Song Shadows. Wake up, workout, work, drink, sleep and repeat.

Hanni opened the big curtain in Haechan's room causing him to squint his eyes to the sudden sunlight "Oppa, please. You can't keep on being like this"

He sat on the side of his bed, rubbing his eyes "Like what? I'm fine Hanni, you don't have to worry about me"

Hanni placed a pill and a glass of water on his bedside table and sat beside him "Take that, it's for your hangover"

Haechan took the pill and Hanni let a sigh out "You really need to stop drinking"

"My own wife betrayed me Hanni. What am I supposed to do?" His stubbornness clear in his voice.

Hanni placed a reassuring hand on Haechan's shoulders. Not knowing how to help him anymore.

"Get your day started. Everyone's at the warehouse waiting for you" Hanni said and head to the door.

"Oh and put some clothes on! It hurts my eyes" Hanni laughed and threw a shirt and sweatpants to Haechan before exiting the door.

Haechan sighed and smiled under the clothes that landed on top of his head "This girl"

The dimly lit room adorned with the soft glow of computer screens, Chenle and Jisung, feverishly typed away at their own keyboards.

Haechan, standing behind them with his arms crossed, eyes fixed on the screen as anticipation hung thick in the air. The soft hum of electronic devices filled the room, creating an atmosphere charged with suspense.

Chenle's fingers danced across the keys, while Jisung scanned through lines of code. Haechan, his expression determined, watched the digital map unfolding on the screen.

Jisung's voice broke the silence "I think I've got something. A signal from Areum's last known location. She kept on moving places before this, but I think I've got it now"

Chenle's eyes widened with excitement as he adjusted his glasses, confirming the data. The three of them shared a glance, the realization sinking in that they might finally be closing in on their elusive target.

Haechan, unable to contain his anticipation, rested his hands on both of their seats and leaned in closer "Where are you Areum?" A mix of urgency and determination in his voice.

"Bingo. We got her" Chenle pointed to a blinking dot on the screen, the location marked unmistakably as Spain.

Haechan's eyes narrowed, emotions swirling within him "Spain... we're coming for you" He declared, his voice carrying a potent mixture of anger and resolve.

As the trio finalised their plans, the glow of the computer screens illuminated their faces "Tell everyone to meet me at the meeting room"

In the cramped room, the glow of computer screens cast shadows on determined faces gathered around a strategy table. Maps and notes sprawled across the surface, marking their digital pursuit of Areum and her gang in Spain.

Haechan's sharp gaze scanned the map sprawled across the table, tracing the path that led them to Areum and the Song Shadows. The air was thick with anticipation, each member feeling the weight of the impending confrontation.

"We've been chasing them for too long," Haechan muttered, frustration etching lines on his face. "We finally know where they are, Spain"

The gang mates exchanged determined glances, a silent agreement resonating within the room. The clatter of their preparations echoed as they geared up for the mission ahead, adrenaline coursing through their veins.

Just then, Hanni came into the room and head towards Haechan "We found them?!" She said excitedly "Yes, Hanni" Her brother answered.

"Great! We need a plan. Rushing in blindly might not be the best approach" Hanni said and Haechan nodded in agreement

Haechan, his jaw set, took the lead once again "We can't afford any missteps. Once we're in Spain, we need to move fast and stay ahead of them. Chenle, keep monitoring their digital footprint. Jisung, gather intel on their recent activities"

Chenle nodded, fingers poised over the keyboard. "I'll track their online presence and communications. If they slip up, we'll catch it"

Jaemin, pen in hand, began jotting down key points "I'll dig into local sources, see if there's any chatter on the ground. We need to know their movements before we make our move"

Haechan leaned over the table "Areum's smart. She won't make it easy. We need to think like her to outmaneuver her"

Taeyong, his eyes focused on Chenle's screen, chimed in "What if we set a digital trap? Feed them false information to divert their attention while we make our move"

Renjun grinned, adding, "That could work. Keep them guessing and off-balance"

Haechan approved "Good. And once we locate their physical whereabouts, we'll coordinate with local contacts for a seamless approach"

With a decisive nod, Haechan divided the team into three units "Team Dream, you guys stay in Korea. To keep an eye on that digital trap and be ready for any backup we might need. Our jet will be on stand by for you guys"

Turning to Team 127 and WayV, Haechan laid out the plan "Team 127 and WayV, we are all heading to Spain. Taeil, Xiaojun, Yuta, Winwin, Kun, and Ten, you're with me"

Haechan turned to the rest "Johnny, Doyoung, Jungwoo, YangYang and Hendery, you guys go with Taeyong. I'm assigning you to lead a team" Haechan turned to Taeyong and he nodded.

"Our objective is to track down Areum and her gang on the ground. It's time to settle this once and for all"

Haechan continued "Communication is key. We stay coordinated between the teams, updating each other in real-time. If anything goes south, Team Dream, you're our lifeline"

"Hanni, stay with Team Dream. They need your smart brain" Haechan gave her a kiss on her forehead "Be safe please" Hanni said and Haechan gave her a reassuring smile.

As the teams geared up for their respective roles, Haechan's gaze swept across the room, meeting the determined eyes of each member.

"Let's get her boys. Let's do this for Mark.
