Red Dawn: Mr and Mrs Mason's House

Me, Robert, Matt and Jed walked into Mr. and Mrs Mason's house. Mr. Mason welcomes us in as I pull up a chair next to Robert and Jed and Matt sits next to Mr. Mason "Well we all figured you kids would have headed for FA now" Mr. Mason says and I look at him 

"What's FA?" He looks at me "Free America, That's a safe zone" Jed looks at him "Well where are we?" He asks "Well you four is in the occupied territory, You're 40 miles behind enemy lines that's smack dab in the middle of world war three"

He stands up "What are you kids, doing fooling around town anyway?" He says leaning on the wall "We're looking for news Mr. Mason, W-we haven't even seen or talked to anyone since it all started" Jed says "Alright, Wait here" Mr. Mason says as he leaves the room

Mrs. Mason then walks in with a tray of tea and some food "I wish there was more here, Sorry" She says setting the tray down "No worries thank you Mrs. Mason" I say and she smiles. Mr. Mason then walks back into the room and he hands something to Robert "Use this"

I look at Robert as he opens it "what is it?" He looks at me "Radio? Oh we can't take this" Robert says carefully putting it back in the packaging "It's alright, I got another one" He says "Now you all listen to me, Don't go to calumet no more" Robert looks up "How come?" He asks "Because there has been some attacks up there, um....people waking up with their throats cut..." Robert fidgets with his hands

"W-what happend to my dad and mom?" He asks as Mr. Mason looks down "Your dads dead Robert....They shot him" Tears run down his cheeks and I hug him and he hugs me back crying in my shoulder "That was an example...now you all listen to me and let that burn in real good, I'm sorry I don't know where your mother is Robert"

He continues to cry as I hug him "Ya'll need food, a bed anything you come here, I got a couple of heirlooms I want to hide with you" Jed and Matt follow him as I continue hugging Robert "It's alright Robert..." I say softly

Mr. Mason's POV: These are my granddaughter's, They spent two days sneaking here...Toni Erica this is Matt and Jed Eckert, They're gonna take care of you...and I don't wanna know where they're going..."

Y/n's POV: We walk outside the house and I give a quick hug to Mr and Mrs. Mason "Thank you" I say with a small smile and they smile back "No problem, Stay safe" I nod and Robert helps me up so I can sit behind him on the horse

"Take care!" Mrs. Mason says as we ride off
