Saved By The Bell: Y/n's Prom Date (Part 2, Final Part)

Later that day after school I was on the phone with Kelly "Which color prom dress should I get, Maybe yellow to match Zack's hair" I say with a small laugh and I hear a knock on my door "Oh gotta go" I hand up "Come in" I say as my dad opens the door and I smile and stand up "Hi, Dad" I say and he looks at me "Hi honey..." He says and I look at him "Is something wrong?" I say and he nods "Yeah...I-i lost my job today..." My smile fades 

"Dad....that's terrible" He nods "But I am telling you first because I know you'll keep everyones head up" I nod and go to my side table next to my bed and pull out 100 dollars and give it to him "Take this..." I say and he looks at me "Y/n, I gave you that money to go to the prom" I shrug "I'll go to prom next time...Family comes first" I say putting the money in his hand

"Are you sure?" I nod and he smiles and walks out and I sit on my bed and put my head in my hands as tears form in my eyes. The next day me Kelly, Lisa and Jessie "Okay so we have eactly, 240 minuets to shop at the Palisades mall mall before dinner, and here's our route" Lisa says as she opens her locker to reveal a map of the mall "You have a map of the mall?" Jessie says and Lisa looks at her "I have a map of every mall from here to Tijuana" I look at her

"Uhm I can't go to the mall with you guys..." I say "Why?" Lisa says as I look at my feet then back up "I'm not going to prom" I say and Jessie looks at me "Don't tell me Slater killed Zack!" She says and I shake my head "Nah...My dad lost his job and we need the money" I say and Kelly looks at me "Oh I'm so sorry Y/n" She says placing a hand on my shoulder "Have you told Zack?" Lisa says "No but I am sure he'll understand"

Zack then walks over "Hi, Girl of my dreams" He says walking over to me "Oh hi Zack" I say and he looks at me "Hey, What's wrong?" I look up at him "I-I Can't go to prom with you" I say walk off and he scoffs. a bit later me, Lisa, Kelly and Jessie are talking in the locker room "I am such an idiot now he hates me I should have told him"I say sitting on a bench "Don't worry Y/n" Jessie says as Kelly and Lisa nods 

"Anyways, Let's stop talking about me...Lisa who are you going with?" I say as she smiles "I'm going with that guy from our English class Chris Rale" She says with a smile "Oh yeah I forgot he was in our class what about you Kelly and Jessie" I ask as Kelly smiles "I'm Going with Ryan Will" She says and I smile and nod "I'm going with Slater" Jessie says "Oh nice" 

Later that night I was in my room looking out my window when Zack came in "Zack? Why aren't you at prom?" I say "Oh that's tonight? Gosh I must have forgotten" He says with a shrug as I laugh "Listen Jessie Kelly and Lisa told me about what happend with your dad...Why didn't you tell me?" I look at him "I guess it was hard to say, I mean you were so happy when I picked you....Listen I'm sorry I ruined your night..." I say and he smiles

"It would be ruined if I went with someone else" he says as I smile "Come on, I got a surprise for you" He says as he takes me out the house and we walk to the school "Close your eyes" I close my eyes and he guides me, we get to the side of the school and there is a picnic table with a picnic basket, candles and a sign that says "Zack and Y/n Prom" "Alright open your eyes" I open my eyes "Zack what are we doing here?" I say "I told you I got a surprise" He smiles

We sit across from each other and smile as we look in each other's eyes "Zack this is so nice.." I say smiling "Yep, And now we have everything they have inside even two pieces of cake I wrestled away from Alan, Sorry there is no icing" He says as I laugh "Zack I don't know how to thank you" I say and he smiles "Don't, Just close your eyes" I close my eyes "Alright, give me your hand" I put my hand out

"Okay now open" I smile and open my eyes and look at my wrist "A corsage, it's beautiful...I think I'm gonna cry" I say with a small laugh "Oh please don't you might put out the candle" He says as I laugh and start to hear the slow dance music from the gym "Zack will you dance with me?" I say as he nods "Sure" We both get up and I wrap my arms around his neck as he places his hands onto my waist and we look in each other's eyes and both lean in and kiss....We then pull back before smiling looking in each other's eyes
